Where to find a surger?

I'm looking for a sewing surger for my wife for her birthday. Does anyone know where to get one that's not eBay? I live in Toronto, so if anyone knows any local TO stores, that would be great, if not, national chains would be helpful too.

    Most major fabric stores have a sewing machine center in the store. They sell sergers and would be glad to teach your wife how to use it. BTW, make sure you get a 4 or 5 thread serger...never a 3.

    If you have a JoAnn Fabrics or Hancock Fabric Store(any type of large fabric chain)in your area, they would have sergers. Also, Wal-mart has them.
