If a store is open 24-hours a day, at what time do they restock their merchandise?

They just do sections throughout the day. Like WalMart, they're always working on aisles :)

Most or all 24-hours a day store restock their merchandise from midnight to 6am in the morning. At these hours, almost always there are a few customers going through one aisle to the next. The aisles are vacant and merchandises can be hauled out from the back and into the aisles for restocking.

I did overnight restocking for Kmart for a week; we restocked from 11pm, an hour after the front doors were closed to customers, to 7:30am the next morning.

My local Asda Store (Walmart to Americans) is open 24/7. It restocks its shelves between midnight and 5 am roughly.

I used to work at a 24 hour store...we stocked shelves all day long, whenever we got a chance, we kept extra product on carts and just pulled them out of the back when there werent too many customers around.

Usually the 11 PM to 7 AM shift does it. On the rare occasion I'm at Wal Mart during these hours, that is when I see the guys stocking the shelves.

When those areas of the store are generally the slowest, so that they can disrupt as little business as necessary and still be able to plan the required hours for stocking

If they're smart, they'd do it late night or early morning, outside of the high traffic times.
