Jack Layton has again shown what a fool he is, mixed up SARS and BSE in a speech in Brandon. Is he an idiot?
The guy is talking to cattle producers about BSE and spend the whole speech calling it SARS. This guy has got to go.
Better than Harper? We will never know how good he is as Prime Minister, so impossible to compare. The guy makes Lenin look right wing.
Oh and supporting the Liberals only makes you an expert in corruption and lying, so don't think I'll believe your answer.
PS Harper's plan is the first plan for the environment. Liberals had 13 years to do something and didn't. Harper's plan has reasonable objectives that attain full fruition by 2050 and are ongoing from now.
And not just one speech, pretty much every speech, the *** debacle, the absolutely stunning afghan policy. No, he is definitely an idiot.
Liberals messed up environment, Senate messed up accountability (80 amendments) and 15% in the polls really tells the tale on how in touch he is.
And the currently are the swing party, balance of power. Read the news.

Layton is more in touch with the needs and wants of the majority of Canadians, so he messed up one speech. He surely didn't mess up an entire environmental policy, or a promise on accountability.
Layton doesn't hold any real power, there is no need to get your panties all in a bunch, he is the leader of a party that is neither the opposition or holds the swing vote.

He is better than Harper. Layton, regardless of how he messed up on ONE speech, recognizes what Canadians want. Harper only pretends to. I'll give you an example. For the past year or two, polls have been showing that Canadians want something to improve the environment. Harper throws some bullcrap law that actually sets Canada back in that category, and Layton (along with everybody else with a brain in this country) knows that and comes up with a better plan that Harper rejects. So no, Layton's not an idiot; he's a much better politician than Harper or Dion. This coming from someone who supports the Liberal party.
