Don't look for "mini" or "toy" yorkies. All it is is a term used for runts bred together to make sickly "mini" dogs that puppymillers and backyard breeders came up with because people think it is "trendy" and people will buy them for that reason. As for an actual Yorkie, normal size and healthy, go look for a reputable breeder. IF you have dog shows near by, talk to the breeders and owners there to see if they can reccomend someone. Or, you could always rescue a Yorkie in need from a breed rescue, just be aware of alot of health problems they have from over breeding and careless breeding which if you have the time and extra money, its not a problem. I'd always reccomend rescuing first, but if you're going to go the breeder route, make sure you do it right. Just remember NO paper ads, NO petstores, and NO "fliers" or internet ads.
