Has Yahoo Answers really changed over time?
I was reading some questions asked nine and ten months ago. Some of them had 30 or 40 ratings of thumbs up or down. Most I see now don't seem to have many, if any. I've only been around for a month. Did I really miss something?

The difference that you see is because Yahoo changed the rules. We used to earn one point for every thumbs up we gave. Now you don't get any points for giving questions a thumbs up (it's called rating). Like me, many people stopped rating questions after Yahoo took away the incentive for doing so.

Most people are just not interested in giving the thumb ratings
