I'd say that religion addresses the Ultimate Reality, the mystery beyond what we know. What we know is embodied in science, and those beliefs that we can't prove using science belong to religion. It addresses such questions as "What's the Ultimate Reality", "How did we get here?", "What happened before we were born, and what happens to our existence when we die?", and "How shall I live my life to the best."

God is usually thought of as being the Ultimate in many respects - creator of the Universe, omnipresent, and so forth, so God belongs in that great Mystery and so is religious. One ultimate question that certainly belongs to religion, but depends on one's conception or definition of God, is "Is there a God?"

Religion is something that mankind dervived to control others with in itself, and used the idea of God to be the center of religion beliefs the over seer. God is just a term for a higher being, the unexplained devine, and is apart of religion because of the the term. God is God and there for falls under no religous belief.

God is not religious. There are many religions but only one God.

    1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

    2. a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.

    3. the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.

    4. the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.

    5. the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.

    6. something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience: to make a religion of fighting prejudice.

Religion is a (successful) attempt to control the masses.

    God does not exist.

God is God, He is the I am, Religion can never satisfy God. Religion is man's attempt to make himself right with God, but any such attempt is futile because even man's best efforts are flawed and so are unacceptable to God. The Bible could not be clearer: all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. God demands perfection; religion fails to meet the demand.

religion is any form of beliefs. God can't be religious because god has no capacity to believe. the name god is just representation of believers for the highest power but actually it is the purest form of positive energy in the universe. it is a form of energy not a form of belief.

God actually finds most religion very offensive. It is worship He wants!

Religion is a misrepresentation of faith.

No, God is not religious, he is Faithful.

So, I have faith, though I have no religion.

    But, I am called, Christian.

Religeon is a set of fundemental beliefs of ways of thinking. Religeous is to follow those sets of beliefs. God does not need to be religeous he is reality so it is like saying do i belief in me.
