Why NOT?!? Truckers are people too!!!
I'm guessing you're asking this question because of the working hours that Truck Drivers keep.
You'll have to decide on your own whether it's worth it to wait for him sometimes.

Yes, there are lots of truckers that have a spouse and even a family.
my mom has married a trucker and he is away 4 - 5 days out of the week.... but they have their own trucking company so i guess it is a bit easier on them.
Plus it depends on how long u are away, where it is that u travel to and how much money you get., cause it may not be worth the time or money if it takes away from your family.

no, most truckers are unloyal they are not family material. trust me my dad was a trucker.

Why not? They're people too. As long as you can put up with him not being around for several days at a time (ie, on the road), then, of course.
