    Yes, you can.

Heat up some milk, then put in amount to taste, and mix well.

I used to fix it that way in my teens. It's pretty good.

The chocolate sauce made for sundaes is thicker and of a different texture than the chocolate syrup or chocolate powder made for hot chocolate. I think you will find it you try to dissolve the chocolate sauce for sundaes in milk or cream, it will not dissolve properly and be lumpy. Might taste ok, but ... lumpy.

Hershey's syrup is best to dissolve in milk. Adding a drop of vanilla extract adds richness, and topping with whipped cream adds lusciousness!

Oh, yeah! Very easy -- just be sure and use really good milk (maybe even cream) with it. You could add powdered milk if you don't like the texture you get.

Here's a recipe for chocolate syrup, even:

    1/2 cup plain cocoa

1 c. sugar (brown, white or mixed)

    dash of salt

    2/3 c. of hot water

    1 Tbsp. of vanilla essence

Seive the cocoa and sugar into a small pot to get rid of any lumps. Add salt. Add the hot water, then bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Still stirring, cook and boil for two minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla essence. Use one or two tablespoons per cup (250 cc) of milk. Hot milk for hot chocolate, cold milk for chocolate milk. Add marshmallows and peppermint sticks as desired!

Got Milk? Heat milk, pour syrup, stir and dig in the back of the pantry for the bag of marshmellows

I don't see why not. My idea of hot chocolat - heat it up and eat the sauce right out of the jar! LOL

I've tried before and it tasted super watery and funky. I think you need the powder stuff.
