Monday or Friday?

Which day is actually the worst day of the work week? I think working Fridays is worse. I can't wait until the day ends!

Update:

I agree that Monday is a bad work day. My thinking is that once you get through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and now it is Friday morning and you are tired from working all week, which day are you more eager to have end? Monday because you have to work all week or Friday because you get a few days off? The day that I think more than once, "I wish this day would end", is the worst day for me.

I agree with you, because friday is the day I really wanted to end so I could start my weekends (in school days I mean) lol

  • I was thinking of asking a similar question because I hate working Friday! For one thing, I am torn between wishing it was over quickly, but usually time goes too fast and I have to work until I'm finished everything for the week (unless I want to work Saturday or Sunday! Yuck!!) and I usually end up working late!

I don't mind Monday because the weekend is still far away and if I don't get something finished, I can say,"I'll do it tomorrow!"

Well, here's how it works for me. Monday MORNINGS are the worst for me, because for the past 2 days I've been use to just waking up whenever I want without my alarm clock going off. My body and mind are still in "weekend Mode" which is sometimes hard to break. And if it's raining or cold and I'm under the blankets, it's even harder.

Fridays, however, are worse in the afternoon. Right after lunch it begins, and it seems like time just slows down to a turtle crawl. It seems like 5:00 is about 3 days away!!!

Well there is a survey more heart attacks or on Sundays because people dread the work day on Monday. I think Mondays are harder for me, on Fridays i am just thinking OK i will do this Monday lol

I usually don't get enough sleep on Sunday nights, so I end up very tired on Monday mornings. Even the newspapers are very thin, as opposed to super-thick Friday newspapers, and Fridays just make me more excited about the weekend than the actual weekend (i.e. Saturday) does. So, I definitely prefer Fridays.

Mondays are the absolute worst. Everything goes wrong, people are grumpy because they either haven't recovered from the weekend or they're just not yet ready to face the week, and on top of that you've got a whole week of creap that you have to deal with on the J-O-B. At least on Friday you have two days of relaxation to look forward to!

Mondays are the worst. We only work half-days on Fridays.

I think Monday is because, I have fun all weekend and get very little sleep and by the time Monday rolls around it is hard to get back in the swing of things.
