Can I drive myself to the K Club for the Ryder Cup?
I am going to be in Ireland for the Ryder Cup. We are staying in Dublin and have a rental car. Someone told me that we can't drive there (& park there) but that we must reserve seats on Irish rail and take the train & shuttlebuses. Is this true? Why can't I drive to the Ryder Cup? Please help as I actually leave today!

I hate taking people's advice when I can't substantiate it. I just got back from New York, and everybody and their sister's mother said not to drive into New York. Take the train, do this do that. I drove to within a five minute bus ride that took us to 40th and 9th street. After getting there, I saw that it would have been no different than driving in Chicago. Idiots!! Go ahead buddy, go for it. What do you have to lose.
