If a man says something in a forest and his wife isn't there to hear him, is he still wrong?

All married men are permanatly and unconditionally wrong!

This is a serious question. ‎

Right and wrong are human values or concepts that do not have any value by ‎‎themselves, consequently, they mean nothing if not related to some mind or reference ‎‎that may judge them. For a given statement or act to be right or wrong, your statement ‎‎or conduct must be evaluated against a set of conditions agreed upon by whoever to ‎‎judge it. Let's take an example. We all know that stealing is wrong. Now, if you are ‎‎alone, entirely alone, the concept of stealing will lose an important factor or element ‎‎that makes it an act of stealing. I.e., somebody to steal from. Therefore talking about ‎‎the concept of stealing while you are completely alone is irrelevant; it does not exist.‎

Similarly, in the case you are presenting, the wife, who is an essential factor in ‎‎determining whether what the husband will say is right or wrong, is absent. Therefore, ‎‎what he says need not necessarily be right or wrong unless the wife comes to know ‎‎about it, or, on the other hand, it has OTHER relevant elements or references around ‎the husband that may ‎judge it to be right or wrong.‎

Your ‎argument is: Since what the husband will say is ALREADY ‎classified as WRONG by ‎his wife, it doesn't matter if she hears it or not; it will still be ‎wrong - if we accept its ‎initial classification as wrong. ‎

And my answer is: At the forest what the husband says is neutral. It becomes wrong ‎only if his wife comes to know about it. And it is neither right nor wrong if she ‎doesn't -unless other factors other than the presence of the wife are there to judge it ‎either ways.‎

You got it. When a man gets married, he essentially detaches his penis and leaves it with his wife during the day. Whatever his wife says is right, even when she is not around.

The wife is always right, even if she is wrong. Never forget that or you will be celibate!

Easy question - of course he is - no doubt at all about this one. Absolutely, all the time, anywhere, whatever the circumstances in all cases. The husband is always, always wrong. Just say: 'Yes dear'. And .... even if he 'thinks' that he is right - wrong!

Of course. A woman will SENSE he is in the forest contemplating something and he is wrong about it.

  • 1 decade ago

That depends. Does he still want a wife and a house to come home to?

go ahead and assume that anything a man says is wrong, and it really doesnt matter where he says it. lets also go ahead and assume that if a man says something where a woman cant hear it, it is absolutely wrong on many levels.

Only if she finds out about it.. then it's "What were you doing in the forest... why weren't you at home.... I have things to do you know....."

Oh what joy and peace that short time carries with it

yes of course, she will want to know why he was in the forest in the first place, and what he was saying, and to whom was he speaking, how did he get there, and on and on and on

  • 1 decade ago

Who told him he was allowed to go to the Forrest and then who told him he could speak. He is wrong on so many levels- did he remember to take the trash out?
