Has the Alamo historical site been improved yet?

I was there 5 or 6 years ago and amazed that such an important historical site for Texas and America had been allowed to decline and to be so poorly presented.

When compared to other country's major sites, such as the Tower of London, the Louvre, the palace at Versaille etc. The Alamo was not being preserved nor presented with the dignity which it deserves.

I'm hoping that has been improved since I was there.

    I don't think it has.

The reason I'm answering is to congratulate you on that answer you gave to the person asking why he couldn't afford to buy lunch. Great answer and VERY TRUE! Keep up the good work on Yahoo Answers!
