why are most people afraid to tell the truth?

Because they think they are saving someone's feeling from getting hurt. Or they don't really know how to tell the truth.

I think they r just afraid of the consequences..my advice:Try to tell the truth more often coz if u started to lie on big issues, u'll lie on small ones too...Try to tell the truth in the nicest possible way so that noone gets hurt. That's all.

Because they are...

...ashamed to tell the truth

...to avoid punishment

...to keep secrets

...the truth hurts

...to risk from being killed

...the truth is boring

they are many reasons why ppl are afraid to tell the truth, but those reasons are the most common.

Im not...and those who are must be lost and don't have jesus in there heart...
