Hello! I have a question regarding admission into medicine schools and tuition fees please read the details below, thank you!?

So, I’m a biology student, my gpa is 3.95 and I’m an honors student. I still have 3 years to graduate and I want to attend medical school later on. My question is; how can I apply to a medical school if I don’t have the financial abilities to pay all the tuition fees? I’m an A student, but somehow I feel like I don’t know where to start and I don’t know how things go or how other med students pay for their tuition fees. What options do I have? I really don’t want to give up on my dream just because my parents aren’t wealthy. Any suggestions?

Do I need to apply for FAFSA to get apply for any scholarship, and should I if I have a Pre paid plan?

    I'm really confused at this.

I have Florida Pre Paid, and I am able to afford a secondary Education without a loan.

But thing is, I see that to be able to cover other expenses such as books, I can try to get a scholarship to make it even more affordable for me.

Thing is, im confused as in that every scholarship that I have seen requires to submit a FAFSA application.

If I do that, will they automatically give me a loan?

If so, should I apply for it regardless just to get a scholarship?

How do student loans work exactly?

Say your loan is £9,250 per year I’d assume you’re getting £770 per month. How do you pay for accommodation? How much is accommodation? Is it free?

Can people usually get student loans medically discharged for schizophrenia ?

    Favorite Answer:

If you can document that you are permanently and totally disabled, then federal student loans can be discharged (meaning you don't have to pay them back).  You must apply for this and provide significant documentation of your inability to work and earn a living because of your diagnosis.

Help with the University's cost of attendance and loans?

    Hi Everyone!

I was just wondering. I recently got admitted to the University of Alabama, as an out of state student, and I have 2 questions in my mind that I need answers to. (I truly appreciate your time and effort for helping me out)

    1. Considering that I got a presidential scholarship (28,000) and an additional 2500 engineering scholarship and I live as a normal out of state student, how much do you estimate I will end up in student loans??

    2. If there is a way to reduce the total living cost on campus on the first year (20,000), what would be your recommendations?? And what's the lowest I can bring it down by??

    What happens if I can’t pay 💰 tuition 👩‍🎓 ? Can I be expelled? 🙅 ?

My mom got fired 🔥 and now my parents told me that they will no longer be able to contribute to funding my education. Where I go to school it is very expensive and I don’t have the money to pay the tuition?

Should I just act like nothing happened and just keep going to class as normal and eating in the cafeteria and such? Hope no one notices?

What happens if I ignore notices to pay 💰 tuition?

Will they expel me and have security drag me out of the classroom if I am found out to not be paying tuition?

Will they lock me out of my dorm room? Will the campus guards literally drag me off campus and drop me off at the train 🚂 station 🚉?

Should I just write the check for the tuition amount and have it bounce to buy me some time until I get expelled? Is the returned check 100 dollar or something fee worth sacrificing here?

Will they expel me for not paying tuition, what are the consequences of not paying? What will they do?

Help my teacher dropped me despite my COVID-19 family emergency?

I wasn’t able to turn in work for 2 weeks because my half of my family was positive of COVID-19 and a few days

later my dad had to get 4 surgeries in a span of 1 week. (He had a minor heart attack and one major. He got 3 surgeries for it, one was because his valve stint closed.) do as you can imagine my family of 6 with only two working individuals are struggling financially. To add insult to injury, my teacher decided to drop me without a refund. So I have to pay full tuition for a class I barely attended. When she dropped me I lost my financial aid because I was reduced as a part-time student and we don’t qualify. So now I have to pay full tuition.

My parents don’t know. I don’t have the heart to tell them but at the same time it’s so hard for me. I feel like dying.

(Details below) My online college screwed me into debt, HELP? ?

I started taking online college classes last January

I ran out of money for the semester in May, so I sat out the summer.

August comes around, so I resume classes so I start 2 classes for that 8-week term.

I find out I was $11 short on a book voucher=I could not purchase textbooks=could not do any assignments. I was looking for a job at that time, and no one was willing to lend me any money. So I ended up withdrawing. Next term, when I had a job, I re-enrolled in my classes. Then, my advisor tells me I can't do a book voucher anymore, so I'll have to pay the full price. By the time my check came, it was only a week left in my classes. Later on my financial advisor told me that I lost some financial aid because I withdrew. So, I somehow forgot to withdraw again, and I ended up completely being inelgible for all financial aid for an entire semester. And on top of that, I somehow got a $1900 hold on my account, in which I cannot continue until I pay it off.

    College Question.....?

I have attempted to go to college 3 times following my parents plan for me to get a medical degree . First I tried radiology, then ultrasound tech now medical diagnostic. None of this is my passion so I failed all three times . I’ve finally decided I want to go for childhood education. I love kids and that’s my drive but I no longer qualify for financial aid . Is it possible a school will accept me being I’ve failed out 3 times ? Will that affect me being approved for student loans being financial aid won’t help me anymore ?

how can i pay for university if i don’t get enough through fafsa?

i’m an american looking to go to university in the UK; i’m waiting on my reference to finish up so i can submit my UCAS. however i did file my fafsa, but i won’t know how much i am offered from the schools until i’m finished with my UCAS. i originally thought that i could just get a loan via fafsa to pay my entire tuition, because thus far while going through community college my loans have. however i’m just now becoming aware that it may not. what do i do? i’m barely middle class, my parents are divorced, and neither of my parents have jobs at the moment but fafsa was asking questions about last year when my dad was still married to my stepmom and he got a severance package from his job before last, which greatly inflated the appearance of our income. i’m anxious because the scholarships i look at would be hard enough to win + id need to win several to pay one semesters tuition. i’m scared of private loans because i’ve always been advised against it. what do i do ??
