So I decided a long time ago that I wanted to be an 3D animator. I know I have to go to animation school and all of that if I so choose to. But I was wondering, what university career would be good for animation itself. I would like to do other schooling outside of animation school which I will do very soon, but what do you guys recommend will be a carrer that will help me become a better animator? Some people argue that fine arts and/or physics would help me out (for 3D animation) so... Idk, what do you guys recommend?

I suffer from Pectus excavatum. It describes an abnormal formation of the rib cage that gives the chest a caved-in or sunken appearance. I've seen that there is many surgical procedures that help fix this, but I've heard that they are really painful to go by and that they are kind of expensive. I'm 15 years old and it's just kinda embarrassing to take my shirt off when there are people around. It's been kinda weird ever since people started mocking me for it in Gym class one day. I'd like to know if by doing exercise and eating right I could help hide this a little bit. What kinda exercises should I do? What kind of a diet should I eat? I consider myself pretty healthy and exercise comes a little harder to me do to breathing problems (do to the PE) but I'd be willing to work hard. Anybody have a clue?

So I'm trying to start up a youtube channel where I talk about things like the history of animation, animation techniques, tutorials, etc... all the recording I'm gonna do is gonna be behind a computer. I just wanna get some proper gear for the sound part. My knowledge on microphones is limited and I mostly have a friend who use to set that kinda stuff up for me. I just wanna know what you guys would recommend. I'm not interested in any headset microphones and I would love to stay between the 100 -200 price range.

So one of my friends is making a short film and he asked me to animate some scenes for him. He was describing all the scenes to me that he wanted me to work on up until he mentioned a shot that required me to animate a spider. I have a severe case of arachnophobia, and this is the first time where I actually have to fight to fear towards them. Not only do I have to model a believable one but I also have to make it move. So Naturally, that would mean I'd have to study them... I need to get rid of my fear, and I already accepted that. I've tried looking at pictures of them in the internet and I end up closing the tab every time, what would be a good way to fight my fear?

This is what he wanted me to say "A few hours ago my Internet connection was fine but then after a reboot I had to re install my network card drivers to get it to work which it did. But then my pc asked me to restart and I did and after it would not connect. It says under Adapter settings that the connection is disabled and when I try to re-enable it it say re-enabling then enable but it still shows its disabled.

I'd like to shoot, and edit live action. I already have a green screen and proper lighting. My problem is the camera. I want a camera that isn't gonna cost me anything more than 500 bucks and that can shoot 60 fps with a fairly good resolution, any ideas?

so I wanna do a little bit of 3D and from time to time 2D animation for movies. I currently use cinema 4D for 3D animation and after effects for compositing. I wanna specialize in animation not modeling, so I was wondering what the standard was out there for programs such as maya, or 3DS max. I just want to know what 3D package should I learn how to use.

my guinea pig wont eat, and/or drink. he's usually really full of energy and moving around and stuff, now he is really slowed down and he is breathing fast. I am kinda desperate. There is nobody at home that can drive me to get him a check up, what might he have, and what can I do?

well, i am 14 years of age. I have fallen in love with 2D and 3D animation. I also enjoy graphic design quite a whole lot. I'm not as good as I want to be, but with a couple of years of practice I will get better. I don't wanna request admitions for colleges or anything like that, oh no :P but I just wanna have an eye on the best ones out there. What do you think are the best design and animation schools in the U.S. ?

So I like to play around with a 3D package called Cinema 4D, and im currently trying to learn how to composite animations in 3D in top of real life footage or even a previous scene. I think it can be done in after effects but im not sure, how can I achive this?

So when i grow up, i wish to be a 3D/2D animator, i also like modeling quite a bit. I work with illustrator, after effects, a bit of photoshop, and cinema 4D. Any tips into what skills and programs i should learn?

so, i have a lot of hair in my ***. And i dont know, sometimes i get bored and braid the hairs in my butt, when im reaaaally bored i shove a pencil near my butt, draw a face on it using a sharpie, and the *** hair braid becomes the pencil's hair. It's soooo much fun :D but when ever i say i do this, people look at me weird, so... what am I doing wrong?

you see, I have to make a documentary on the black death for school, so what I wanna know is, how did the black death shape some aspects of society into what we have today

so over the last few months or so my best friend has replaced me with her boyfriend (I'm a dude and I'm straight) to a point where she went to a basketball game with the dude on my birthday last year and all she said is that I was over reacting when i got pissed off. Its been 12 months since that day, today is my birthday aaaaaaaaand... she did it again, she's in her boyfriends house and she didn't even say happy birthday, I feel replaced, hurt, to a point where i've spent my whole day home kinda depressed about it, I'm happy for her that she's happy and she has a guy that respects her and loves her. I'm friends with the kid too, but I can't help but to feel rejected, last time we hung out was 3 months ago... what do you guys think?

So I'm into the field of animation, for this field you need a good processor not to fall behind, as in your computer will literally lag for hours and hours just when working on a scene, and so that rendering takes less time, so i was thinking go getting a corsair vengeance 16 gb memory kit, and I wasn't so sure, I have a mac book pro, I have a friend that told me that you can't change processors in a laptop, so what do you guys think? and If I can change it, i need at least 16 gb of memory, tell me what choices i have

so im havign a problem turning on my computer and I've done my research and I've concluded its my logic board, but I just want a second opinion, when i turn on my mac book pro 2008 it makes clicking and gearing noises, shows the little lights and then just dies, I've replaced my hard drive and battery so i know its not that, what do you guys think?

so my macbook pro from 2008 won't turn on, it charges and i can even see it has full battery when i charge it for some time, but when i start it it starts to make noise, like the gears and every thing inside starts then it suddenly just stops, i am aware it could be many things, what can it be other than a battery problem?

I am currently feeling a bit dragged down by a few people that tell me that I shouldn't worry about how to do all this stuff till I'm in collage. I want to be either an animator or a modeler, Ive looked into it a lot, and I think it would make me really happy. I don't have any kind of guide what to do. I'm kind of low on budget so I can't really buy tutorial things online or anything like that, I am currently working with Cinema 4D but I'm trying to get into Maya (pixar's render man can adjust better to maya) I don't really know what schools are good for this, and I need a way to find some kind of guide. I've been teaching myself for a while now. I love what I'm doing right now, but I just hate being stuck on this hole. I wanna learn something. What do you guys think I should do? and a few tuts would be nice

well i just installed windows 7 in my mac book pro 2011 by using bootcamp how ever it has no sound, at first i thought it might be because the file was corrupted so i downloaded another windows 7 and i had the same problem, over and over again for a couple of more times, ive tried bringing the volume up, and use all that **** with the control board, I have no sound though the actual computer, the speakers or headphones, i kinda need help
