are there any free/cheap applications that are good for recording, that sound professional and not like i did it out of my bedroom?

I am an early(3 year) grad in high school. As a part of my Junior/Senior year I am only taking one junior class, it is AP Us History. My teacher told the class that if we aren't taking the AP test at the end of the year we may as well be in regular because it is just a waste of a lot of work. I am not going to college (please don't judge, I am going to trade school) and I am not taking the AP test because it would be a waste of my money, since the school does not pay for it, hardly anyone has ever passed, and it is not required. Because I am graduating early, I am taking my exit TAKS next week. My AP US History teacher told me that in his regular classes, once you pass the exit TAKS he just has you finish the class online (which would take about a month) because up there in no need in relearning the material for no reason. He is a great teacher, but 3 hours + a night on homework and tests out the wazoo, I am almost completely decided to leave AP. After hearing my case, are there any good reasons to stay? Any good tips on how to convince my pricipal and counseler the is no reason for me to be in AP just because it raises the school's GPA?

it is 1 in the morning and i can't sleep because the thick smell of smoke...we have a fire place and the chimney is open...the fire has been burning all day and the smell didn't start until an hour ago...we usually have a smoke smell but not this heavy...there are cracks in the back of the fireplace and we have burned unseasoned wood lately...it is too cold to open the windows to air out the house...everyone else is sleeping and i don't want to wake them with no reason...but i don't want them to die from CO poisoning

well...yesterday at school my iPhone was stolen...it was an original so not too bad of a loss but now i need money to get a new one...i've decided to go all out and get a iPhone4...so i need to make some money

for homecoming this year i made a mum out of duct tape...it got alot of oooos and ahhhs and i even got my pic in the yearbook...anyways some kids asked if i was selling them for next year...and the dance teacher even asked if i would make her one if she brought duct tape for her this year...

is it a good idea to sell them? how much??
