  • How much damage have I done to my car?

Sooo I went a really long time without changing my oil, like er I'm 9,000 miles overdue. Before you throw me to the hounds, the reason is my dad told me he took it for an oil change and it wasn't actually in need of replacement when it turns out his memory is going bad and the oil change he was remembering was quite some time ago.

I realized all this tonight when I went to add some oil and upon opening the cap noticed it was smoking. I am getting my oil changed before work tomorrow morning.

Have I done irreparable damage to my engine by allowing this to happen? And besides changing my oil is there anything I can do to help my car? My car has a turbo engine if that matters but I typically drive it in green mode.

  • How can I convince my co-worker to see a doctor?

I recently started working at a vegan restaurant/juice place and as you may imagine, it very much attracts the types of people who are into alternative medicine, unfortunately my co-worker takes this to the extreme. Over a year ago my co-worker was diagnosed with Lyme disease and since then she has left it virtually untreated. Though she apparently tried conventional medicine upon her diagnosis, she claims it made her feel worse so she stopped taking antibiotics and instead began to "treat" her lyme disease with a variety of vegan diets.

Since then her disease has only progressed, and at this point it's literally killing her, yet she still refuses to turn to conventional medicine. She is so profoundly affected that she had to drop out of high school and earn her GED. She has severe cramps and TONS of issues with her liver at this point, yet she won't even touch so much as an Aleve. The only "medicine" she uses are supplements like turmeric powder, and juice cleanses.

She is such a sweet girl, and it breaks my heart to see her suffer like this, especially since lyme disease is so easily treated. Her family is well of and I know she can afford to go to the doctor I just don't know how to get her to go. PLEASE, if anyone has dealt with someone like this in the past let me know how you were able to help them. I have no idea how to get through to her and could really use some advice.

How much would a tattoo like this cost?

I'm hoping to get a tattoo similar to this in a few months from now but I'm still not exactly sure how much it'll cost (not including tip). What I want would be roughly the same size maybe slightly larger with the same level on intracy and detail. What kind of price point am I looking at?

  • Tips for dealing with exercise induced asthma?

Recently I've found cardio related exercises to be incredibly difficult because I struggle to breath, even though I'm not at all physically tired or stained yet. I live with two heavy smokers and so I think I've developed asthma as a result of exposure to second hand smoke. I plan on seeing a doctor/asthma specialist as soon as possible, but in the meantime does anyone have advice on how to manage my symptoms until then?
