Is the most direct route via taxi always the best way to go?
Here's the reason I ask. I'm coming to Las Vegas in a little over a month, arriving late on a Friday afternoon. I am staying at the Golden Nugget. By the time I get off the plane, grab my bags, etc. I estimate it will be 6 PM Vegas time. Will I be better off to ask the taxi to take the most direct route (ie Paradise to Sahara, then to LV Blvd, etc to the GN), or will rush hour dictate that the I-15 route is better? I'm not in a big hurry to get to the hotel, and would like to save a bit of money if possible. Just looking for a bit of insight from locals.
3 AnswersLas Vegas10 years agoDo all of WestJet's 737-800s have aisle armrests that don't go up or down?
Last time I flew on one of their -800s I recall the armrests along the aisle didn't move at all. I was just wondering if this was the case as I will be flying with them again in September, and my itinerary indicates the aircraft is a 737-800.

4 AnswersLas Vegas1 decade agoName of a song with no lyrics, usually played at hockey games?
Does anyone know the name of this song? It's basically a bunch of church bells going off in rapid succession. It's usually played in the 3rd period, mostly when it is a close game.
And please DO NOT say "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC. Those aren't church bells at the start, and that song has lyrics. That's not the song I'm looking for.
2 AnswersHockey1 decade agoCan I purchase a 3-day $15 Deuce pass when I get on the bus?
Or would I have to purchase it at the DTC, or elsewhere. I'm just curious because I'll be back in Vegas in less than 2 weeks. Thanks for any advice! :)
4 AnswersLas Vegas1 decade agoHave prices for the Deuce gone up?
Last time I was in Vegas it was $2 each way ($1 for disabled) and $5 for a 24-hour pass. Is it still the same? I'm going to be in Vegas in a couple weeks.

I saw a video of it on YouTube, and it didn't appear to be from what I saw. I'm just wondering since I'll be going to Vegas in April. Any input would be great. :)
