What happens to a hamster if you give him an orange segment? Is there anything you can do to counteract?
He's very sick - please help.
4 AnswersRodents1 decade agoMy daughter's hamster is sick. Cold/lifeless/is breathing but red tube coming out of stomach & wet belly.
I called vets around - no one in my town treats hamsters. Called petstore - they said give Pedialite. Have given vitamin water. Have had him for a month and he was fine yesterday. My daughter gave him a segment of mandarin orange, and apparently that is bad for them - no citrus. We didn't know that. WE DO NOW! Help????
