Hey guys! I wanted to see what you Americans thought of Canada/Canadians?

Hey guys i'm visiting Miami from Canada next week, are there any beaches that are good/safe for kids? I heard that North Beach is more peaceful, a lot quieter than South Beach?

Also how is the weather in August? Will it rain too much?

Hi guys, i recently visited Sandusky, Ohio from Windsor Canada... went there to visit the Kalahari Water Park Resort.

I noticed a couple things that i have never encountered while living in Canada...(this isn't my first time visiting the US, to be honest, its been 15 years and i go a lot)...anyways, when i was in the wave pool section the wave "threw" me into this lady, so i laughed and apologized and she gave me this extremely dirty look and told me to watch where i was going (not like i could control myself) I was very annoyed and i felt like saying something back, but i didn't :/ Anyways, i just continued thinking of how rude it was, like here in Canada people honestly just apologize for brushing each other's shoulders....I had never really encountered someone that rude while visiting the States ( i know...making this sound like it's a huge issue) but like c'mon, the attitude? Makes me want to believe the "Americans are rude" stereotype even more.

Not only that but when i was at Sears (in Michigan) this mid- 40's lady bumped into me (not me bumping in to her, she bumped into me!!!) and i said sorry with a smile right away, and then her reply was, "Move" and she made this "ugh" type of sound after that.

Anyways, i know not all Americans are rude, I love a lot of them, they are nice. But in Canada, when your at a waterpark and you bump into a lady, "MOVE" isn't something you get.

This is just what i notice when i visit America...

Why are Ontario license plates so boring? Like, it probably doesn't matter to that many people but i have gotten so bored of looking at ugly white and blue prints for almost 15 years. Every time i see another State/Province license plate they are always designed and for example, i know that Michigan gets a new plate quite often and they tend to look good, but here in Ontario we have nothing. Plus, they have to drop the front license plate because it's already ugly, and putting 2 plates (bumper,and rear) just don't look good on the car...So, does anyone know when we can start to see new plates, or where i can contact the Ontario license plate people (Sorry, don't know exactly what they're called) so i can ask for new license plates or at least an attempt. It also saves you money with just the rear plate!

i have a bubbly sized cyst on my arm (not near my hands) it is like on my forearm area (near muscles)

I have a bumpy ugly circle bubbly type of cyst (okay it looks like a small pee) It is on my arm near, like when you flex (thats where it is).... I want to know is it dangerous? How do i get cured? Does it hurt to get it cured? What kind of cyst is it? I am scared because i have never had this happen to me before...

It's smaller than a pee but, how do i get it treated? Please help me!

I think it is ugly but i like its nature, well most of the nature is in Dundas region... but people say Hamilton is ugly sooo...

Clearly yes is a excellent answer since other countries all rank better than the US in terms of murders/per year (Canada had 511 last year in total while the United States had ~14,000) and i am not saying it is all due to guns but if we had banned guns don't you think that amount would have been greatly reduced by a lot.

I don't have any statistical links but i am sure if you check neighborhood scout you will see.

I have heard that Montreal has one of the worst air pollution in Canada and its air quality index is 46.5 when Los Angeles is 47.9 which tells me Montreal has really bad air.

I am a Canadian resident and when my green card came my parents stopped it and in my future I wanna live in the US as a civil engineer with a masters degree. What happens if your greencard is stopped? Can you get it back easily without going through the family process 12 years all over again. Because we were sponsored from our American relatives. Please let me know can you still get a greencard if you stopped it for now? How easy is it to get it back?

I graduated and am a Canadian working in Toronto and thinking of applying for a job in the US preferably the Los Angeles area. I am a civil engineer with a masters degree and I stopped my greencard so am I still able to live in the US permanently if I get a job? I don't want a job contract for 2-3 years then coming back to Canada again. So please let me know if I can't work and live in the US even if I stopped my greencard

I live in Toronto Canada and I am thinking of adapting to a new life style in LA. Can I apply for a job in Civil Engineering with a masters degree 6 years expierence if I am Canadian?

I am thinking bout moving to San Diego and I am studying chemical engineering in ontario canada do will I be able to apply for a job here In San Diego and work and live here? I already have a greencard btw. I don't like Vancouver because it only gets rain and it rarely shines there as well as it isn't a good place for engineering it's mostly finance. And they get to much percepatation while San Diego has one of the nicest weathers in the world. Maybe it's not as safe but there is crime every where and the last thing I need is someone to tell me Canada has a lower crime rate. I am aware and if I live in a good part of San Diego it's safe and there's crime everywhere.
