  • Are Jet boats good in the ocean?

    I am looking at a 2005 Thunderjet aluminum. It is 22 feet long and has a chev 350 engine with a berkley jet pump. Would this make a good ocean setup? Not the boat but is the jet meant for salt or is it just as good as say an brovo leg for example. Is there other jet pumps that would be better? I really like the boat and the price is right so that is why I am asking. How fast do you think this boat would go? Just guess.
