I am a Licensed Dental Assistant in New York, and proud of my profession. While I am not a dentist, I feel I have enough knowledge that will benefit some of the Dental Questions... but I'm always learning. :)
What do you do with/how long do you keep EOB's in your office?

Anterior: Mesial, Distal, Incisal....but are the other two lingual and facial? Or are they palatal and labial? Palatal and facial?
The ADA code book doesn't list Palatal as a surface, it only uses Lingual, but some dentists use it anyway which confuses the heck out of insurance claim processors....
Anyone have a clue on this one?
