So my girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship (different countries) and basically her birthday will coinside with when I have very important exams in which if I miss, I will fail and not get a chance to retake. There is a slight chance that I won’t have an exam on the day of her birthday, but I won’t be able to know until further towards the time.

She is very upset about it and I had to do the same thing last year where I had to study for the exam and had to spend the weekend doing this or I would fail. Admittedly, I felt really guilty for last year. I should have gone there and studied too. But this year, if the exam falls on that day I literally cannot do anything about it.

I’d love to spend it with her and to make her happy but I just don’t know if I can and am guilty and lost.

I ve always played videogames and watched tv for as long as I can remember. I noticed that I often struggle with taking in information or remembering things. I m not as smart as most people. I m just wondering if it can be down to years of excessive electronics use.

I'm currently studying coding on my own and have been reading a "Coding for Dummies" book (yeah, stupid right?). One of the tasks in the book asks you to create an app using HTML, CSS and JavaScript which, upon creating a button that will be clicked by a user, prompts the user to chose if Google Chrome can use your current location. For some reason I cannot get this to work on my computer. I have gone into Advanced Settings and set up location preferencess as intended but can still not get the prompt to show up when I create this button so I cannot carry on with my work. I have even checked the JS coding that the writer of the book has generously created for the person learning it. Does anybody know a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Im really peed off. I paid £15 for episodes 1-5 of Life is Strange on the Playstation 4. I finished the first episode and noticed I had to download the 2nd episode so I did that and watched it download. When it finished installing I went onto the game and it said I dont have the episode yet. I went back onto the PSN store and it said I had already downloaded it!!WTF is going on?

To start off. No, the console is dust free. Not one spec on it. If I m on the XMB, its as quiet as a mouse. However, when I start games up like Metal Gear Solid 5 (which is the loudest) the fan goes into blowdryer mode. Then after a while it slows down a little. 5 minutes later and its doing it again. I understand that the fan is supposed to get louder as you play games but surely not THIS loud? My set up is also good enough so that ventilation is good and isnt in a hot environment so it cant be overheating. If anyone knows the answer to this then it d really help.

So I signed up to EA Origin and bought Sim City but I have found some nasty reviews about Origin, including how it has a lot of bugs, etc. is it really that bad?

The job I have involves installing security including CCTV and magnetic door locks, fire alarms, etc. Ive been a trainee for a few months but Im just not interested in it anymore. Because Im not interested, i cant find the motivation for the job and so I make plenty of careless mistakes and no matter how much i try I cant get involved. Seeing as this is a very serious job, Ive considered leaving because I cant afford to slow other engineers down because of me. Do I quit?

My PC can run it fine but for some reason it crashes 10 minutes into the game. I downloaded it off of Steam so I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that.

I bought a keyboard for my new PC but when I press shift 3, it writes a £ symbol instead of a hash like it says on the keyboard itself. the same is with shift 2, as it writes a " symbol instead of an At symbol, like it should. Ive tried both shift keys but its still doesn't work. is there a way where i can manually assign symbols?

I bought a new gaming pc and am waiting for it to come still. It comes with windows 8, but I'm worried it will be crap from what I've heard. Is it all that bad?

Since last Thursday, I have constantly been coughing. I also had a cold along with it so I thought that was why I had it but now my cold has gone but my cough still persists. Ive tried lots of medicine, cough sweets, lots of water, sleeping in non dusty rooms, getting fresh air, and other things but it just wont stop. Ive been losing a lot of sleep too and so have been off from work a few days now. I also don't smoke or don't have any illnesses either so why do I still have the cough? Surely it should have started to get better by now.

Why cant people realise that not everybody has the same mental capacity?

As in the "wow, very cheese, much yellow" thing with the dog. I pronounce it "doje" like dojo without the o. I say it like that because it sounds hilarious. Is it the proper way though?

I have a list for Pokemon detailing which Types are good and weak against which makes battling easy but seems like cheating. What do you think?! Do you use a list?
