We found a puppy that someone was missing. We saw it on Facebook but couldn't find the post. We cleaned her up and fed her. She was very active, non aggressive, not physically showing signs of rabies that i could tell. (rabies wasn't on my mind when I found her) my daughter was playing with her and the puppy playfully nipped her arm, it did break skin. i didn't realize it till a little bit later and i cleaned it really good and put ointment on it. We called the pound and brought the dog out there, told the pound that she did break the skin, the pound didn't quarantine it at the pound. she said the puppy wasnt showing signs of rabies. she let the dog go home. we called her today and she said that the owners supposedly have the dog under in house quarantine. And that she calls and checks on the dog. We did take my daughter to the doctor. he said to put the dog under quarantine for 10 days. it happened last Wednesday night. today was 6 days. the dog catcher said they owners said the dog was healthy. the dog is in another town so we cant physically see the dog. Should I trust them? should I demand proof of life? i mean Im panicking and crying non stop. I dont know if i am overreacting? i believe the dog is a pup. im sure it was too young to have had its rabies shot yet. Im just at a loss. Please only serious comments. IM not a troll. I am a very concerned mom of an awesome 4 year old little girl. And no bashing me for letting the dog play. I realize it was a wrong thing to do. but rabies never crossed my mind.

We frequent thrift shops. We get a lot of things from them and usually I can find them online when I get home. Well yesterday we bought a huge bag of Littlest Pet shop items. Inside was this toy plastic pet bed. It's a stacked (unstackable) cat (top part, pink, fish on the floor of the level) and dog (bottom, yellow, bone on the floor) on the bottom it reads 2007 PA Made in China. It's not LPS as far as I can see. It's missing something on the top maybe a swinging fish or something that swings in front of the cat bed. then 2 holes in the back maybe for a banner or maybe a bird stand. Any help would be appreciated. Google has failed me.

When I was younger they had these small baby dolls that came in dissolving packaging. They were tiny babies and you'd take the inner packaging out and put it in water and it would dissolve. You didn't know until it dissolved what was in it. Does anyone know or even remember these?

Im 7 months pregnant now and trying to plan for the future. I am set on breastfeeding. They told me at the hospital that I would definately have to "breastfeed" like baby on me. I didnt really want to do that for fear it would be hard to wean her so quickly off of me. Im going to use a pump because I HAVE to go back to work. Im wanting to go back a week or two after. My question is...when I go back to work the father will be home with her OR she will be at her grandmothers (only one day a week maybe) how much do i need to pump for say 5 or 6 hours? And how do you store what youve pumped?

Yah! so I am 9 weeks pregnant. If some of you remember I wrote at the beginning of November, that i had a massive cramp but no AF. It was the day before my birthday and i was begging for baby dust. Since AF was never here the same time every month I waited the whole month of November to test.Well Last night I tested and it was positive. YAH! I have been sick and tired the whole month of November it was to the point where I couldn't go to work. I knew I had to be pregnant.

So now that I am what do i need to do?

A friend told me I didnt need to lift anything heavy.

I read I dont need to mess with cat litter.

but i wanted to know some other things: like what i can and cannot eat, what I can and cannot do, What kind of Prenatal vitamins do I need to take and what brand, can I find them at walmart? how soon should I prepare a nursery? when do i find out if its a boy or girl? any advice or tips are appreciated.

Keep in mind this is my first child and I am 25 years old.

Ok so weve been TTC #1 for a year now and had no luck. weve done everything from him trying to up his count to me laying with my pelvis upward for 20 min. My Af never shows up the same time each month. 1 month its at the beginning, the next its at the end then its somewhere in the middle. It lasts about 2 heavy days, and 1 very light day. So anyways it has been about a week or a lil more since weve been intimate, this morning I had some lower abdomen cramping. NORMALLY when I wake up with the cramping the moment i go to the bathroom i find AF has arrived. (thats an every month thing) But this morning it didnt. Now 4 hours later - still no AF - she wouldve been here already I think. Im crossing my fingers hoping. It would be a great birthday present to find out i was pregnant. (my bday is tommorrow)

Please no answers like "Wait until you are late and test" i know that im not dumb. I have to pretty much wait a month or longer cause she doesnt show up on time. Ever

I have 6 ferrets and they are in a ferret nation cage. I have a guinea pigs and bunnies and I was wondering if a FN cage (141) would work as a guinea pig cage or a rabbit cage?

Ok I have a few questions about this but I didnt want to make several posts. Im looking to have less stress on my future baby and I so elective c-section is an option.

1. have you had a c-section?

2. was it elective or emergency

3. Did your insurance pay for it.

4.Does Medicaid cover elective c-sections?

5. Does it hurt afterwards? a friend told me that it did hurt and was uncomfortable afterwards.

6. Do you feel anything during?

7. Do you still get contractions?

8. Does it still feel like you had a baby? meaning emotionally.

Ok so like before Ive mentioned we have been TTC for almost a year now. Im 24 years old and the ftb is 26 I should be in my best time for getting pregnant but no luck. I see all these teen girls walking around pregnant either without a man or with a drug dealer boyfriend without a care in the world. Smoking and drinking not caring they are affecting whats growing inside them. No job, in high school or quit high school. Thinking they are big and bad and think they are mature enough for a child when it will end up (ive seen it so many times) the girls parents or grandparent send up taking care of the child while shes out getting pregnant again. Any one get frustrated when they see all these girls that get pregnant like its nothing and it takes us months to years trying?

If and when I do become pregnant. How do I break it to the mother in law. She loves me to death but she is very protective of her son. We live in our own house. Im 24 (almost 25) hes almost 27. I think this is a perfect age to start a family. I just dont want to be pregnant and his mom be mad therefore stressing me out. Any advice?
