How often will otocinclus cat fish spawn?

I have a 25 gallon set up with a pair of oto cats and 3 mollies and I had unexpected oto cat fry I was thinking about getting a flat rock and tying a piece of zucchini to it so I could feed them that way, what else can I feed the fry? I also have algae flakes and they seem to be eating something on the glass, maybe small microorganisms? I'm not sure, since there is not much information about oto cat fry since apparently they are difficult to breed.

I have 2 fancy goldfish in a 20 gallon aquarium. One has been getting quiet swollen in the abdomen region lately. It is not suffering from bloat because I only feed then once a day and every couple days I feed them peas. The other fancy golfish is very healthy and slim. She does not suffer from dropsy because her scales are not popped up. I have reason to believe she is carrying eggs. She is lying in the corner of the aquarium, and the male keeps coming to check on her. They are under 3 years old so I am assuming the male is not prepared for spawning. Is my female goldfish egg-bound? will she not be able to release the eggs? will she die? is there anything I can do to help?

I recently bought 3 male platies for the vary reason that they would NOT have babies. But i recently discovered that to prevent them from picking on eachother I should get a female or 2 for them. I really don't want to because I have had guppies before and it was hell trying to find homes and spaces to put the babies in. Anyway my question is...can I calm the male platies down without getting female platies. via adding another fish? or?? They share a ten gallon aquarium with a female 2 spot gourami. It's partner died a few months ago and she killed the last male 2 spot gourami I tried pairing her up with. I'm guessing there was territorial issues. But anyways. I need help!

I had it for 5 years and i don't understand why I found it died under it's rock one day. I was worried that maybe it didn't have enough real algae to eat, it's main diet consisted of algae flakes and bottom feeder pellets. I didn't underfeed it because I would give it a couple pellets or one flake a night. He had a round tummy so it definetly wasn't starving. He was well over 6 inches and shared a 10 gallon tank with a single gourami so maybe he didn't have enough space to swim. I was naive when I bought him because the guy at the petstore said that it should only get to a pinkies length max. I'm never making that mistake again. I just don't understand why it died. The pH levels are fine and the ammonia. Was it because of old age? stress? :s

Well, I have a 2.5 gallon aquarium. I do have a filter for the tank but I would like to know if I could do without it because I want to get a female betta fish. I read that bettas like stagnent water so I was thinking I could just do frequent water changes instead of putting a filter in. The reason I don't want to put a filter in is because I would like to place it in my room and I don't like the sound a filter makes. If the betta does need a filter would it be a good idea to get a sponge filter? How much do they cost?

I also have a heater for the tank for those people that are going to tell me I need a heater

It's the older version of the Ipod chromatic not the one with the video camera built in. It looks brand new because I put mine in the wash and then sent it to apple because it wouldn't turn on and they gave me a brand new one. So now I have had this new one for a while and then I got a Itouch and stopped using it so yea. How much should I sell it to someone for? when i bought it was 169.99 but I assume the price would go down plus I am adding in a new Ipod case too.

i am selling my adult male albino pleco for 10 bucks and 3 people are interested in buying it. I bought it for about 5 bucks at petsmart when it was very very small it is now like 5 inches. Do you think that is good price or should i go up a few dollars? Since i want to get rid of it because it is to big for my tank. i have a 11 and a half month old pug he grew up with cats and he likes cats when he was at the breeders. We thought maybe it would be a good idea if we got a cat for my dog just for company. Would it be better to get a kitten or an older cat from a shelter that has had positives experiences with dogs.
