I had my cartilage piercing last week and I'm a little bit unclear as to how long I can leave jewelry out before it will start closing up.(I know that I need to wait until it is fully healed before taking it out.) I will be trying out for the softball team at my college this fall and jewelry is not allowed for safety reasons. So without the earring would my piercing be okay for 2-3 hours at the minimum? Also, if I were to use a retainer for it would it stay put or should I also buy medical tape to hold it in place?

I've also been looking at rook piercings and would like to get one if they will be okay with a retainer or w/out an earring (once again, because of softball). Any thoughts on that would be great!

If you have any links for where to buy retainers it would be greatly appreciated!

So in my thesis I say that there are examples of saints that did not know Latin (but they were obviously very holy people.) I tried looking a few saints up and in their biography it does not say that they did know Latin...nor does it say they didn't.

So I was just wondering if anybody know of a few saints that certainly did not know Latin or at least did not choose to use it for their personal prayer.

So you know how when you go to a ringtone website they list the companies their ringtones will work on? When it says Verizon will it also work for Alltel phones too?

If not do you know of any websites with a wide selection of ringtones? [I was just looking for Skillet now & the Alltel store only has one song by them.]

This is a link 4 a Marathon being run in Cleveland Oh. To be counted as finishing it do u have to run/jog the whole thing?? You walk for parts...right???? I'm 13 & would like to try it. Do you know if they will allow a 13 year old to run in it?

Any extra info about marathons would be nice to...like training for it.

Ok I'm in 8th grade & my Rhetoric class (of mostly highschoolers) are 'forced' 2 enter a sonnet writing contest.I finally finished mine. I was wondering if you guys could read it and mabe give some corrections? It pretty bad but....here it is.

How beautiful the music is which fills

Your ears and mine with lovely verse and song.

The sound which flows from singers' mouth,it chills

As is were sung by singers long been gone.

It comes in crashing waves,from lofts up high,

And leaves its audience in peaceful trance.

Painting the picture of heros' last sigh

Or setting to motion some graceful dance.

The chords,which players' fingers sweetly strum,

Echo through the beautiful high halls,

While keeping beat with the great steady drums,

and in tune with singers' heavenly calls.

All of this music is so beautiful

It can make the most restless soul peaceful.
