I have several years experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS and Design. I utilize many programs: DreamWeaver CS3, Flash CS3, Photoshop CS3, Gimp and Coffee Cup HTML Editor. Just for kicks and giggles I do use Notepad often because I like to keep sharp and not rely on the auto-complete features of modern HTML editors. I currently run several websites: http://www.myworldtogo.com/ http://www.htmlme.com/ http://wiki.diypcfixes.com/ http://www.netcitydesign.com/ I am one year away from completing a Bachelors degree in Web Development and am in the process of building a network of sites that I will then launch a no-cost marketing campaign for.
How do I restore my CMOS settings on a Gateway MX6426 laptop?
So I obtained a laptop from a bunch of abandoned items and it had an admin bios password on it. To remove that I opened up the laptop and removed the CMOS batter for about half an hour. I then replaced it and now it doesn't recognize any of the hardware on the system, wireless card, ethernet card, hard drive, only the DVD drive is recognized. I got it to recognize the hard drive momentarily but it then gave me the blue screen of death. I need to know how to restore the CMOS settings with only a working DVD/CD reader, is there a live cd I can use to fix my problem?
