I was introduced to this guy by one of my friends at an outing. We got along quite well but didn't exchange numbers or anything and i was a bit disappointed (this guy & I are both single).
today my friend casually gave me his no.
I like this guy so should i call him? But i am not the kind of person who would make the 1st move. i dnt want to get rejected or turned down cz it has happened b4 & i dnt wanna get hurt again.
+ this guy is a very very close friend of my friend. So i dnt want to push my self at anything & embaress my friend.
What do i do?

I met this guy at a club meeting and we became good friends. Later we got close & started dating. But after about a month we realised it is not working out due to religous issues and agreed to remain friends and broke it off on a mutual understanding.
We have been good friends since then. However, one day he got drunk & told me that he started seeing another girl & that he is moving on. I was completely ok with that. then he said that he is still in love with me. This upset me a lot.
My problem is that i meet this guy every week and since we are in the same club we have to work together. i don't know how to behave around him anymore because I do still like him in certain respects. But I know that we don't have a future together.
I try to act professional when i am with him & show that we are only friends but inside it hurts me a lot. Please tell me how i should behave when I am with this guy as I am highly confused!

I have achieved quite a lot in my life, education and career both. When i used to go out with my ex he used to put me down each time my achievements came up. He has failed in many things in life. Later i found out that he was cheating on me & eventually broke up with him.
But still when he speaks to me once in a while he has the ability of making me feel very low about my self. How can i get rid of this feeling?
