I've been living in a property for 3 years with a live-in landlord. Never had a tenancy agreement and always paid cash in hand on a monthly basis. I now want to move somewhere proper and was wondering about my notice. I don't want to give a month. I'll be damned if my landlord protected my deposit at all and he has never shown a gas certificate either so it's not been the best. I want to give him two weeks notice at best. Is that possible?

So I need a couple of different opinions whether this guy is just a friend with benefit or could develop into more although I probably know the answer already.

I've been seeing this guy for 3 months, we do go out for dinner etc occasionally but of course there is a lot of sex. We see each other about once a week. That will be about the amount he calls/texts as well, approximately once a week at best.

I'm all for developing things slowly but there's never been any exclusivity talk, never been any "I miss you" or anything like that, never any emotional talk from him period like for example where he sees this going. although he's said once or twice he's thinking of me.

We're both late 20ies and in full time jobs however this amount of contact can't be normal if a guy is really into a girl? At my age, I don't find it normal.

I could bring this up but I feel like a fool. I think id rather just move on. Any thoughts?

I have been living and working in the UK for 5 years now and am from Western Europe. I really couldn't be bothered to pay the fees to be naturalised as a British citizen. What is likely to happen to happen to me if Britain leaves the EU? Would it even make financial sense to kick all migrants out of the country?

I met a guy at a club on Saturday night, he approached me, asked me out on a date for tuesday which went really well. He did mention to meet up again on the date for this weekend and told me he would be back in touch. I am 28, he is 33. Then when I was home after the date the following text echange happened.

Guy: home safe?

Me: Yes thank you. I had a really good evening, thank you.

Guy: I really enjoyed being with you. Good night ;-)

Now, it is thursday night and still no word from him. Should I be concerned? Does this mean he is not so keen?

I am 26 years old and work in marketing (on a computer, round about 9 hours a day and often use the computer at home as well.)

2 years ago I had an eye exam with perfect results. I had a stressful time (no idea if that means anything) but I had an eye test today and I am -0.75 on both eyes now and noticed that I cannot read things in the distance very well (that's why I had the eye test in the first place)

The optician did not consult me very well I don't think.....

Does this mean I have to wear glasses every day for everything or just driving, reading, tv, work etc?

If so, I have never seen it come on even if the indicator is on the red, does it have to be well into the red to come on or maybe even below the red?

I overfilled my car on engine oil last night. I got into work and the car was blowing smoke from what seemed to be underneath the oil tank. I drained the excess oil and steam cleaned the inside of the bonnet as the dipstick had fallen off and the oil was everywhere. I drove home for 11 miles and when I was home I had another look, the car was still blowing a bit of smoke but nothing like it did before. Is that normal? Any advice is really appreciated.

Let me just add, before I steam cleaned I used gunk to clean the oil from inside the bonnet.

Habe gerade meine Fahrpruefung in England bestanden, da ich schon vor ein paar Jahren aus D weggezogen bin aber wie lauft die deutsche Fahrpruefung eigentlich ab? Was wird genau geprueft? Ich musste zum Beispiel 40 Minuten fahren, einmal rueckwarts um die Ecke in eine Strasse einparken, einmal in der Strasse wenden und einmal sicher aus der Fahrt heraus stoppen.

Can you make a decent tasting pasta sauce if you only have passata but no chopped tomatoes or anything else to put into the sauce? Is there a way to stretch it or make it nice tasting with oil, spices, sugar or anything else?

can i just put it on a high degree level when washing and tumble dryer afterwards? Should I try 60 or 90 Degrees?

The cheque spells my name with one N instead of two, will that make a difference when bringing it to the bank?

I am 24 and have been playing for a year occassionally. Is it the more years I play the more chances I have to win? Come on people, that's unfair. I need some cash and don't have children I'd need to share it with either but I would give some of it for a good cause so I think I deserve to win soon.......
