Momma to Ayla (5) and Tavian (18 months) wife to Ben ( I ♥U ). Ayla made me feel whole. Tavian added pieces I didn’t realize I’d been without.My husband is better than I deserve. I love to travel. I am passionate about politics, natural parenting/living, and other random philosophies on life. I play the piano, I dance, I teach, I learn. I do crafts and scrapbooking, I exercise, I practice natural healing modalities, I knit, I decorate, I hug people I barely know, I eat health food, I compose songs for my children. I rebel against the idea that I need to be a typical housewife, yet it is something I do because it’s part of who I am. My house is clean and organized because I find it therapeutic to live this way. I give to others on the alter of my own sanity. I question authority. I strive to break the mold and crash the stereotype, even when I fit it naturally. I have beliefs and opinions that have been painful to acquire. In every way I contradict myself.
