Sick Cat Help, Pale gums, eating less, drinking less, not as active?
My cat is an orange tabby; he is 10 going on 11 in a month. He was having very foul smelling "deposits" in the litter box. I switched up his food and now that stopped but I noticed his gums are pale, he is eating, and drinking less, he is also not as friendly or energetic as usual. He does have a history of problems with his teeth (had one pulled as it was rotten), and he is overweight. He dose try to eat, I gave him treats today he ate those. So I am thinking there may be something wrong with a tooth or gums. I have an appointment to see the vet, but I have to wait until Friday. Booked it on Wednesday night. He just started acting different this week, but he is a cat so who knows how long he has been sick. They hide it so well. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar with their cat. Thanks
2 AnswersCats9 years agoHow does one start an apprenticeship?
In Manitoba the Government has this program where if you can get “sponsored” as an apprentice, they will pay for most of your schooling.
Sounds great but there is a catch. I’ve been calling around to many places in a couple of fields that interest me and I’m getting the same response from everyone. They all want apprentices that have already gotten there level 1 or higher. This is understandable. I don’t have a problem paying to go to school. The problem is thru the Government program I can get into school this fall...without there is an around two year waiting list for most programs.
My question is this: To get on as an apprentice do I need to go to school first or is it actually possible to get “sponsored” by someone. Also should I be focusing on the bigger companies or the smaller guys for a better education?
I’m just itching to get started. I’ve been doing seasonal work lately and been laid off quite a bit due to the above normal rainfall...and I’m getting tired of it. I’ve been looking at Electrical work, HVAC, and Mechanical work
Thanks
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoI found a job in which the application deadline has passed (today 07/25/08 Fri 5:00pm). I applied anyways.?
Via email as requested. I did not mention in my cover letter that I was late or that I found out about the position after the deadline.
How should I follow up on this to see if:
1) They accepted my resume after the deadline.
2) How do I not come across looking poorly for handing in a late submission? I don’t want to lie about it.
3) Or with an email time deadline just write this one off and pray something similar comes up?
Thanks
Chris
