Where in the Bible does it say God is eternal?
It seems most believers are convinced of this so it must be in there somewhere. Surly they are not making this up or simply assuming it...

Washington (CNN) -- Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, the head of a network of Christian house churches in Iran, could be executed as soon as midnight Wednesday in Tehran for refusing to recant his religious beliefs and convert to Islam, said the chair of a commission that monitors religious freedom around the world.
Are any of you going to speak up at this extremism? This truly makes Islam abhorrent!!
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoDon't the Yahoo censors realize that if they keep deleting questions in mass their user base will drop?
Aren't the in enough financial trouble as it is? Is it really necessary to drive away users just because we think differently than they do?

This video was made by Keith, a 12 year who talks about homosexuality. It would be hilarious if it weren't so pathetic. Is this what Christian teach their children?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy didn't Jesus write down any of his sermons or anything for that matter?
Surely he must have been intelligent enough if he was teaching priests at 12.

Many times I've heard "that was the OT, things changed with the NT".
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do believers ignore so many plot holes in the Story of God?
Things like picking and choosing what to follow in the Bible?
Why do believers ignore the fact that there are so many different Gods, all of them correct?
Why does each believers have a slightly different interpretation of their religion?
Why do they ignore scientific evidence for somethings but not others?
Why do they have a hard time knowing right from wrong when even young children can tell the difference?
Why do believers ignore our understanding of how the mind works and the affects faith and religion have on it?
Why are believers more hung up on being loved by God than being a decent person?
Why do they so readily put faith in archaic ideas written thousands of years ago?
Why do they ignore the reality of our Universe and how vast it is?
Why are believers so intellectually dishonest?
Why can't they think for themselves?

20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAren't we all just programmed machines, our thoughts just functions?
And our beliefs based on what we've been taught and / or exposed to? Doesn't the "garbage in = garbage out" rule apply? Certainly our brains don't know any better. Many of us are aware of this and have garbage filters. Many more do not. Could this help explain why belief in fairy-tales has persisted for so long?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoClearly we are evolving. Do you thing God took this into account when he "created" us?
And if so, what sort of outcome was he anticipating?

1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs this what creation "scientist" truly believe? Since when did referencing the Bible become valid science?

The article is about planet formation. The last 2 paragraphs are;
However, Scripture teaches that God created planets on Day Four of creation week. He is no longer creating stars and planets, and there is therefore an alternative explanation to this dust and gas cloud around the star AB Aurigae.
Of course, there is a law of science that must not be forgotten: the second law of thermodynamics, which continues to demonstrate an ongoing state of decay, not the upward onward formation of planets and stars.

They also need to educate themselves on the 2nd law of thermal dynamics.

So the question is can ICR.Org be taken seriously?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoReligion is causing our planet to be over-populated.?
People blissfully multiply due to the comfort and reassurance provided by a belief in God. Because of over poplutaion we will reach a point where the planet cannot sustain itself and various parts of the plantary life cycle will break down causing untold suffering and death. Which, in turn could cause the demise of religion or a return to dark ages.
Is this a viable glimpse of the future?
