VA/Fannie Mae certificate of occupancy extenuating circumstance. Need to leave before one year. Need advice. Thank you in advance?
Hello. We have purchased a fannie mae condo with intent to occupy as primary residence for me. My spouse lives in our other home( almost paid off) while I work out of state. I have lived here in this condo for four months with pure intent on staying for a couple years, but I will be transferring back to my previous job and family matters with mother will be requiring me to pay for her care which will be a financial hardship. Is this considered a viable "extenuating circumstance" for selling it before one year? Bought Fannie Mae property using VA loan. Can I get out of the 1 year occupancy clause?
