I'm an angler with 30+ years fishing experience and more than 10 years in fishing tackle sales. I don't claim to know it all but I win my fair share of tourneys. When a customer comes into my tackle shop and asks me a question, I always shoot straight. I'm not trying to shove the hottest, most expensive new bait down their throat, I listen to them and get them the bait they need and that will help them catch the most fish in their individual situation. My rule for selling tackle has always been.. if you tell anglers the truth they'll catch more and they'll come back for more.. advice and baits! Take a kid fishing! You will both be better for it.
