MAC erase HD is NOT WORKING?
Hi,
I am trying to erase the HD on my imac (desktop) with 10.4 installed (that is what it says on the Info on the screen - about this mac). I have start up disks for 9.1 and 10.2.1 and I have been trying to start up holding down 'C' like it says, but it just starts up like normal, no menu, no option to start from the disk. It will not let me click on "erase" in the disk utility (it is shaded). I need to get this HD erased so I can load the OSX again (the computer got a virus).
Please help!
1 AnswerDesktops9 years agoBaby doing somersaults!?
My son is 17 months right now. About 4-5 weeks ago he started to try to do somersaults. He successfully did a somersault just after he turned 16 months. My hubby and I ( and anyone else who has seen him do it) think this is pretty early for a kid to be doing somersaults. Is it?
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoVancouver 2010 Olympic Theme Birthday Party for my 1 year old?
Hi, I asked this in newborn and baby, generally because there are lots of answer there, but got NOTHING! haha! So hopefully some of you mommies can help!
My son is going to be 1 on March 1, which is the day after the Closing Ceremonies here in Vancouver. My family and I are very excited about the Olympics, and that we all are getting the chance to participate in the games as volunteers in addition we are going, and taking my 10 month old son to some events in Whistler.
So, I was thinking about his 1st birthday, which we are going to celebrate Saturday March 6th and I thought that it might be kind of fun to have an Olympic Themed birthday party for him, using the mascots (Quatchi, Miga and Sumi) as part of it.
I was looking for some ideas from you mommies as to how I can do this, ideas for games, activities etc. Most of the guests are going to be between 6 months and 1.5 years old...and their parents...there may be a few older children (5 and 6).
Thank-you in advance for your ideas!
5 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoHot Tub leak - Help me find where it is?
Hi,
We have an Arctic Spa and it appears that we have a leak somewhere. Last week I lifted the lid and noticed that about 30% of the water is missing. There was not substantial water around the outside of the tub, plus it had been raining, so even if there was, I could not tell if it was rain or hot tub water.
So we filled it back up and kept checking. I checked today and the water level was down again, not as much but about an inch from where it was 2 days ago. So I took the paneling off to take a look inside, and there is no water there either. The inside of the tub appears to be dry. I figured if there was an inch of water missing that there would be pools of water inside the tub, but no?? So....can anyone give me insight into what this may be? Or where the leak may be?? I am confused as to where the water is going?
Thanks
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoMy 8 month old plays strange with his Grandfather?
My son is 8 months old, and for the last 1-2 months has been playing strange with my dad (his grandfather). It is really frustrating, and we try to play light of it because we don't want my dad to feel bad, but I know that it bothers him.
Whenever my dad comes into the house, or we go over to my mom and dad's place our son will just stare at my dad for about 10-15 seconds and then the pout and then the full out cry. My son rarely ever cries. My dad is not a mean person at all, he is funny, and has a huge heart. Our son does not do this with anyone else, not even strangers! He has not always done this, just recently. He would hang out on my dad's lap, my dad would hold him etc and he was fine. It is just within the last 2 months that his has started. Any suggestions? Any ideas? We are all a little confused.
Thanks!
