I'm going to buy ice skates tomorrow! I'm not sure what I should wear to the store to try them on; I haven't bought skating tights yet, so I wasn't sure if I should wear regular tights and go with a slightly roomier boot or wear socks.

I was wondering how many people of different religions would be offended if I said Merry Christmas to them. If someone told me to have a Happy Hanuka I wouldn't be offended at all. To me it just means that someone hopes that I'm having a Happy whatever and I think that's nice. Does it come across as rude, though?

(A)/(2π)= r^2 + rh Here's where I get stuck because the answer is this:

(−πh + √(π^2*h^2 + 2πA))/(2π)

I need help with my summer math packet. I'm stuck with the following:

2Log4 9 - Log2 3. Now since the Logs are different, you can't combine them, right? So what do I do to solve it?

Log3 3^(2Log3 5)

Log3 25 * Log3 3 ...Now what do I do?

How do I solve this one? I need to solve for a:

(x/a) + (y/b) + (z/c) = 1

I'm not sure what the first couple of steps should be. I

OK last one! Solve the inequalities:

(2x-1)/(3x-2) < or equal to 1

I know there are two answers. the only answer I got was1< or equal to X. How do I get the second answer?

I'm looking for the science of it here. What do the medicines do to your brain that cause suicidal thoughts to occur? What part of the brain is really affected? And is there a way to treat depression with a drug (not to say that is the only way - I found therapy to be more helpful) without those thoughts occurring? I mean, is it just because those parts of the brain are linked?

Arg....OK what I mean is this - are there effective depression medicines that will not possible cause suicidal thoughts, or no because the part of the brain that is treated for the depression is linked to the part associated with suicidal thoughts?

OK so I was walking alone (I know BAD idea!!!) to a CVS from my Church - only a block away, and this guy tried to talk to me, and then once he got in his car he pulled up next to me. He scared the heck out of me! I thought he was going to try and get me into his car. Now my mind went blank and I had told him that I was going to Church and I gave him my first name. BAD BAD BAD idea. But what should I do if this happens again? Besides giving a fake name. I was seriously scared.

And why do older creeps seem to hit on me? I had a 60 ask me if I was 17 (I had my hair in braided pig tails!!!! and I had on non-revealing clothes - and 17 isn't even legal) - he stepped closer and closer to me, until someone else opened the door and started talking to me (one of my friends dad's - I was then able to get away). I also had this 45 year old hit on me. It's really sick. Do they just want to get me into bed? Any ideas why I am attractive to them?

I'm reading a book about how music works in the brain. Now I understand that color doesn't exist unless a person is present - just like pitch. With sound, the air molecules move, but it isn't considered a sound or pitch without someone hearing it. The author made the same comparison with light and color. Color only exists when a person sees it. So does that mean that light, like sound, moves air molecules? Because both are talked about in waves - light waves, sound waves.

I can't seem to get the french knot down. Any tips? That and the double wrapped french knot. How far should I pull the thread into the fabric? How do I twist the thread around the needle?
