Ubuntu wont boot up, any suggestions?
My laptop crashed, so I re-started it hoping that it would be fine afterwars, but now it won't boot up.
It starts to boot the operating system, but then the screen just goes blank.
I don't know how to get it out of recovery mode, any help?

about a week ago i dropped it in the bath, but it was only in there for max 3 seconds.
I took it apart straight away, and it's been in the airing cupboard ever since. I tried charging it up and that works because the screen shows it but whenever i try to turn it on it doesn't work.. could it be that the on button is still wet? what should i do?!
