Does he like me? Or does he just see me as a friend?
There s this guy I ve been texting lately. He s pretty funny and sweet but I ve been getting mixed signals from him.
He said I m fun and carefree and he texts me all the time and he kept asking to meet me for like a month (our schedules are busy). When we met he barely made any conversation though.
But then he also said he s still figuring stuff out from a previous relationship and he keeps sending me random pics of girls telling me how hot they are like I m his bro.
So what s going on here?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoWe held hands. Now what?
My friend and I have liked each other on and off for the past 6 years but never dated because one of us always dating someone else when one had feelings for the other. Basically, a lot of bad timing. But we ve always been attracted to each other and on the brink of taking it further many times.
Now we re both single and we ve been talking more and been holding hands while going on walks and growing closer. I m not ready for a relationship though and I don t think he is either.
So where is this going? Should we explore being friends with benefits? And how do you even bring that up? Never done that before!
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years agoAm I rebounding on my friend?
I've had this friend whom I've known for almost 6 years and we've always had a sort of chemistry but we've pushed it aside because of bad timing (either one of us was dating someone while the other was single etc). But he's always been there for me through everything.
Now I just broke up with my boyfriend of 2.5 years. And I've developed this intense desire to want to be with him and been feeling kinda...hor ny? for him. What's going on?

2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoMy boyfriend never initiates intimacy/sex! What's going on?
We've been dating for 2 years. We get very little opportunity for physical intimacy and sex because we both live with our parents.
But he's never up for something like sleeping over at a friend's place and we both can't afford a hotel room or something like that. What do we do? I feel frustrated from the lack of intimacy because of this but he seems totally fine with it.
I feel like I'm dating a friend. All we do is maybe hug, kiss and hold hands in public and that's it. We just had sex once last year when we slept over at my friend's place.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoArtists, what kind of work space would you like?
I'm designing an artists' village for my thesis. It's a little on the outskirts of a city on 3 acres of land.
I wanted to create spaces where artists can live and work, display and sell their artwork as well as hold annual or more regular art fests.
1. What kind of studios do you like working in?
2. Would you prefer a studio attached/detached from your house or living space?
3. Any ideas/suggestions for such a space?
3 AnswersOther - Visual Arts6 years agoI don t want to hang out with my friends anymore?
I befriended them in college about 3 years ago and I feel off late I ve grown apart from them. They do things that seem so immature. They re never serious about work, get senseless drunk most days of the week, make out with random strangers at bars even though some of them are in long-term relationships.
When I join them I generally have a good time but somehow it seems like it drains out all the energy from me to do so (yes, I m an introvert) and I hate making up excuses to not go out with them.
Is it ok to like your friends but not want to hang out with them beyond a certain point?
2 AnswersFriends6 years agoFeeling guilty over losing ex-boyfriend/friend. Please help!?
Ok so the friend in question is my ex-boyfriend. It s been over 4 years since we broke up and we stayed friends after that, or atleast tried to.
tl;dr His girlfriend s been super judgmental and rude and now we dont talk anymore because of her. I feel like I lost a very close friend whom I ve known since I was 12, as a boyfriend or otherwise.
The longer version: Recently his girlfriend suddenly texted me and told me I had serious issues and should stay away from him all because I texted him a couple times asking for restaurant recommendations and sent a photo of a funny cat.
So after that event, I felt I d had enough especially since he was the one who didn t get over me for a long time and tried to kiss me a year back (I m dating someone else now). He even told his girlfriend that that incident was my fault (I was very drunk at a party and he tried to take advantage of that and I pushed him away even in that state).
What do you guys think? I would say its no fault of mine but then why do I feel such a loss?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoBest space for artist-in-residence?
Artists opinion! I m designing an artist-in-residence program and need to choose a site.
Artist-in-residence facilties within a metropolitan city to make a public-engaging space or on its outskirts for a retreat to nature?
Which is better according to you?
3 AnswersOther - Visual Arts6 years agoI planted carrots and brinjal in the same bed by mistake! Help!?
I planted them around the same time, a few weeks apart and now I don't know what to do.
I will have to sacrifice one of them won't I?
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape6 years agoCan't understand my friend anymore?
Sorry in advance for the long mesage.
I have been friends with this person for 4 years and off late she has been overly sensitive to anything I say. I have a feeling that her and this other friend ***** about me behind my back.
Whenever I tease her she just mumbles something angrily or reacts angrily and walks away but doesn't do this with anyone else. I don't know how to deal with this because that is just how I am with everyone. I feel like I have to edit myself when I'm with her so that I don't offend her, and even after 4 years I feel like our friendship is forced and formal.
I can't stop hanging out with her because we belong to the same group of friends. What do I do?
Friends6 years agoIs baking a group activity or a one-man job?
2 AnswersFood Service6 years agoIs baking a group activity or a one-man job?
My friends generally want to bake cakes or cookies with me and most of them are amateurs or have never baked before.
I generally prefer baking alone and am very finnickety about following recipes to the T so I find it really stressful to bake ina group where I have to scurry around measuring ingredients and make sure everyone is mixing, beating, blending etc the right way.
Most people expect it to be all fun and games but I see it more like a process that you have to get right and is only fun if you do it the right way.
What do you guys think? Can baking be a group activity, or is it more of a one-man job? And if not, how do you delegate tasks without sounding like a control freak?
P.S..I don't want any advice like oh loosen up I've tried it and its not for me :P
11 AnswersEntertaining6 years agoWhy aren't my chilli plants fruiting yet?
I sowed my chillies on October 8th ( two months back) which is the short monsoon season for us.
They are just about 40cm tall right now which I think is because of the leaf curl disease they're suffering from.
I sprayed them with tomato leaf insecticide and a solution of oil+water+dishwashing detergent+baking soda because of a few aphids i saw a few weeks ago.
The temperature here has been steadily around 27C( 80F) with humidity at 60%.
Why aren't my chillies fruiting yet? And how can I get rid of the leaf curl? The leaves were curling upwards but have now started curling downwards.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape7 years agoCould I still be pregnant?
I had sex with my boyfriend 2 weeks back and we didn't use a condom and he definitely didn't *** inside me. Plus I took the morning after pill within 24 hours.
I just got my period right now.
I'm definitely not pregnant right?
2 AnswersPregnancy7 years agoIs it un-feminist of me to follow him to another country?
My boyfriend and I might pretty soon, potentially be separated from each other as we pursue our individual master's degrees- him in software engineering and me in building conservation.
But after that, he plans to work in USA. Now I'm confused about our future together (We do intend to spend it together. And even if we don't, this same question applies to any relationship I might have in the future). My dilemma is that I have always wanted to practice architecture in India and conserve the heritage buildings that we have here but I don't mind going with him to USA.
In this world of feminism where we are taught not to let go of our dreams and hopes, I'm having this fight with myself. About how I could be an independent modern day woman and still not mind following him halfway across the world.
Could anyone objectively answer me?
7 AnswersGender & Women's Studies7 years agoTold my friend not to date her boyfriend! Was this a mistake?
My friend has been in an on-again-off-again emotionally abusive relationship with a guy for the past 6-8 years and he's 4 years older than her.
Recently, during a drunk sleepover, I started crying (randomly) and told her that I judged her for wanting to be with him and she should be with him if that's what she really wants and that I meant no harm cuz I was just looking out for her. She said she understood because a lot of her other friends asked her to leave him too. I said all that because I was in a similar relationship before but I got out of it but she hasn't.
Now I still don't agree with her relationship with him but I don't know how to talk to her about it and whether I should at all. Please help!
2 AnswersFriends7 years agoShould I stay in touch with ex?? Is it fair to my boyfriend?
Recently at a party my ex tried to make out with me after we both were pretty drunk. I pushed him away and nothing really happened. At this point, let me say I have absolutely no feelings for him whatsoever since we broke up 3 years ago but we stayed friends. I'm extremely happy and in love with my current boyfriend of two years.
The next day I told my boyfriend (who is my ex's friend as well) and he was really furious! I had never seen him like that before. He stopped talking to my ex and I did too for a while but now things are kinda getting back to normal.
My ex has given me many reasons over the years to go no contact on him but the fact is that I have known him since I was 12 and I'm 20 now. He knows more about my life than any of my friends and is an indelible part of it. Try as I might I can't push him out of my life. But my boyfriend sometimes doesn't understand this, and I can't blame him either because I find it hard to explain to him.
Also, our breakup took a big piece out of my ex, emotionally, and he's just not been the same since. I barely recognize him as the same person I dated anymore but I still have some affection left for him, as a friend.
In such a situation how do I find a balance? Should I explain all this to my boyfriend?
6 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoShould I make up with my ex?
My ex and I broke up more than 2 years ago but we stayed friends during that time with a brief period of no contact when I started seeing my current boyfriend. Deep down I've always felt like he's never really gotten over me even though he says he's in love with this other girl now. But she's just leading him on. That girl has slept with her cousin's husband and had some scandal with a teacher in her school causing the teacher to resign. She's really not a nice person. I don't think he knows about her past.
But recently, at a party, while drunk, my ex tried to make out with me and we had a huge fight after that. I kinda decided to lose all contact with him after that since he has just changed way too much in the years since our break up and I barely even recognize him as the same person anymore. My other friends wanted to know if I intend to make up with him. I don't think I should. What do you guys think I should do? Should I hold on to whats left of our friendship or just let us drift apart? I still do care about him but ONLY as a friend and off late he's become depressed about that girl and his situation at home with his parents. Should I be there for him as a friend?
