Renting a room in someones house?
Okay here's the deal... I want to move states away, but my current job doesn't provide me enough income to do so though. If I could transfer it'd be about the same I'm sure, if not... then I'd have to get a job down there which most likely also would not allow me to have a place of my own.
Has anyone here ever done this?
Do's and Don'ts would be appreciated... as well as anything to look for, and red flags while checking places out... and what would I be expecting price wise... (obviously it all depends, I know... but a general.. from this to this).

Obviously I know mechanics are going to jack up prices, plus the labor fees, but I'm told you can pick up engines for around 300?

I hear .25g ones can do damage to your gun if it's not high enough quality, and I'm looking at getting the Crosman Nightprowler because I don't want to spend too much on a gun lol. So I'm assuming .25 wouldn't be great for a fairly cheap $100 gun, but I don't know. So I'm just wondering if .2's would be good for that or if I should stick with the sucky cheap .12's? lol.
