Does this mean that there will be no further input from us (ie. In the form of questions and answers)and is this to be a permenant  decision?

Y'know the sort, Sunday morning, "spick and span" with their gleaming smiles and mouths full of "horsey" teeth, arms packed with half a dozen bibles etc etc...

Off on their way to make themselves feel holy and righteous, so that during the week, they can abandon their so called principles and flog you a clapped out piece of rubbish at their car yard, or foreclose on your mortgage debt and repossess your home....

Christians go to church on Sunday and the rest of us can go to hell for the rest of the week!

I am British but live in Australia.

I keep seeing this term all over the place but have no idea as to its meaning.

Is it something peculiar to America or like the CORVID beast, is it likely to attack me when I am not looking?

It is a common practice among some Christian zealots to make themselves suffer as a penance to Christ's sufferings.

The Irish have a man known as "blessed Matt Talbot" who wore a hair shirt or something similarly nasty to make him suffer, I've seen older people climb the holy mountain there called Croagh Patrick ON THEIR KNEES and there are communities of monks who belie e scourging themselves makes them understand Christ's sufferings more.

Does this make you a better Christian?

I need to know.

My faith is failing at times.

I no longer know what to believe.

Muslims seem perfectly contented in their faith.

How is that?

Why am I having doubts.?
