Should be Working!

Have a happy Friday! What does everyone have planned to for the weekend to make them forget about work? I'm going to play lots of video games, garden, and sleep! (Hopefully :)

People always think I'm strange when I tell them that I love the cold and the rain. Eventually I would love to end up living in Alaska. I live in SW Washington State now, and even here sometimes it gets too hot for me. Like today is 77 degrees. Most people would find this to be wonderful, I dread it. I get depressed and cranky. Anyone else feel this way?

I am currently working for the worst boss I have ever had. I actually get sick when I think about coming to work. I spend all day Sunday dreading going to work on Monday. So I want to hear stories of other peoples worst jobs ever. Maybe it will make me feel better to know that others have been as miserable as I am.

I think I will make it my Friday tradition to ask what people have planned for their weekend, to congratulate everyone on making it through another work week, and to just say, "Thank God it is Friday!"

Our neighbor has a dog and a cat they never take care of. The cat has climbed all over our new car and put scratch marks on it. It is also a male cat and fights all the time. The other night it was injured on our back patio and bled all over the cement. I went out to try and help it, but it took off. A good 2 feet of patio is ruined now. They never chain up their dog, and it is very aggressive and goes to the bathroom all over our yard.

If this was your problem, what would you do? Would call the humane society, or try and talk with them first? I am new to the area so I want to keep a good relationship with my neighbors.

Also, I lived in the country before, so I am new to having neighbors close by. I just want some advice on how to handle this appropriately. Thanks.

What do you think of knock off purses and the people who buy them? I just bought my first one. I have always been a total purse wh**e. I love purses and shoes. But, I have always bought real ones. That is until yesterday. And I almost feel guilty about it.

Like I'm cheating someone. But purses go for several hundred dollars to a couple grand. Is is really so bad to buy a knock off, that looks exactly like the real thing, for an 1/8 of the price?????

Just a little senseless question to find out who else is as happy as I am that it is Friday. Friday is the only day I truly rest. I spend the rest of the weekend dreading Monday, and the whole week wishing for Friday! Maybe I need a new job.

Seriously, my boss is driving me crazy. I'm not sure how he got to where is he is at. I am a biologist, and he is a biologist. Yet, I have to edit everything he writes because he writes like a second grader. He constantly belittles me, and I caught him looking at porn. This is just the tip of the ice berg. I don't have enough characters to write everything.

Anyone else want to vent about their "IDIOT" bosses? Here is your chance!

Do you find it REALLY difficult to get any work done today? The sun is shinning, the boss is away, and I have 5 Biological Evaluations to write, and I can't focus to save my life.

I have a 3 1/2 year old bunny with pasteurella. She is indoor, potty trained, and usually very healthy. But lately she has been having problems with runny feces and eye infections. I have spent tons of money on the vet. I keep her and our home very clean.

I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem and what they did. I really like my vet, but I am unsure as to how many procedures I should allow the vet to perform. I don't mind spending the money on her if it is needed, but I don't want to get talked into "extras" by the vet either.

Also how many times should a bunny be on antibiotics before I should try and let her own immune system take care of it?

Two, but I don't know how they got there.

I am 32 and have a 13yr. old daughter. One thing her father and I have noticed with the kids her age is the lack of parental supervision. We are not overly strict parents. We taught our daughter morals, respect, and values right from the beginning.

But a lot of her friends parents are never home, their children are disrespectful, i.e. throwing their garbage on our lawn when they visit, spitting on our patio.

They run the neighborhood at all ours of the day and night.

Many of them are all ready having sex.

What do you think is the reason for this change in parenting?

How scared are you for the future of these kids?

What is longest period of time that you spent playing video games...straight through. You only stopped to pee.

I was just wondering if anyone else has gone to download the Adobe Flash Player, and received a Trojan virus with a back door. I did and I have had a professional look at my computer and now I have to wipe it clean. So, if you did, what did you do?

How do you change users on my-space instant messenger. I tried to instant message someone from my account and it keeps using the account of the person who downloaded instant messenger onto the computer. Very frustrating.

Does anyone else feel like when writing an e-mail to friends or family, you have to come up with something witty for the subject line?

I just had an MRI performed on my lower back and it showed (what I expected) a pinched nerve, degeneration of two discs, etc. But then it also showed a loss of curvature due to persistent muscle tightness. Does anyone know what that is, and what it means exactly? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I have a 1988 Toyota Corolla, with a brand new re-built engine, new tires (with warranty), new engine coil, new distributor cap, new clutch, & new brakes. But it leaks. The seals are bad. I just bought a new 2007 Hyundai, and want this one gone. So I have no idea what to sell it for. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I recently fell of the boat at work onto the dock, (I am a biologist and I was taking sediment samples) and injured my back. I have to have an MRI performed because my doctor thinks that I herniated a disc or two, and now I am in tremendous pain, and my right leg keeps going numb on me.

My boss is treating me different and does not have work for me now, and I am nervous that I may loose my job. I missed 3 days because of the injury, and I have been doing everything that I can at work, but I am limited.

Can he fire me or lay me off?

Can he just decide that there is not enough work for me and ask me to not come in on certain days?

I have never had this happen and I want to cover all my bases. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
