Long time I didn't use Y. Answers... now I come back and I find the layout changed... or is my page's configuration? On the left there are the "categories" but not subcategories, so the questions are all on a long list.

Cerco quest'aria: il personaggio, maschile, baritone o tenore, parla in quest'area delle dicerie che si dicono in giro, delle malelingue... che spargono dicerie, descrivendo questo "crescendo" di come queste dicerie si rinforzono e diventono accuse.... nell'aria c'e' come un ripetersi di una frase... La musica la ricordo un po' pero' non riesco a ricordarmi le parole e di che opera si tratta. Potrebbe essere il Don Pasquale? ma ho rivisto velocemente il libretto e non mi sembra....

UK. I bought a new monthly contract with Talk Mobile to discover that Talk Mobile does not allow calls to Cuba. Same for T-Mobile, in this case they told me T-Mobile does not connect to any country which dial code start with 005 (or +5, same thing), Cuba has +53. Anybody has direct experience calling Cuba on a Vodafone UK network? I know O2 and 3 have no problem calling Cuba. Has anybody been affected by this problem? They never tell us these restrictions until we discover them after signing with a new contract.

Is it feasible to travel from Pinar de Rio area to the beach of Maria La Gorda by bus and then from Maria La Gorda to Trinidad, or is the car the only way? I no longer drive and I read it is illegal to hire a car with a local driver in Cuba. Of course I could just go with a legal taxi, but I fear to get there to find out the taxi will cost $200 or something! Anyone?

I was thinking to visit the west and the centre of Cuba and not to go to Santiago at this time. I have read about the music, the lively buzzing central area (and all the jineteros!) but not really being convinced by my reading on Santiago. I am wrong?

Is Cayo Coco better? what about the south beaches? I will travel by train, buses etc but no car, so it must be accessible.
