I have read a few articles that give a reasonable list of objections to enacting universal background checks. However, all of those objections seem to apply to ALL background checks. Do we want felons and incapacitated people to own guns, or not? If we do want them to own guns, it seems to me we don't need any background checks at all. If we don't want them to own guns, it seems to me we need universal background checks.

A friend of a friend is being hounded by a Swedish collection agency. She is a Swedish citizen. She borrowed money in Sweden in the 1990s to study abroad in the United States. She didn't repay to money, and has been in the United States for more than 20 years. She lives in Tennessee, where the statute of limitations on contracted debt is 6 years. However, the collection agency is threatening to sue her in federal court. My hunch is that they are just threatening her to get her to pay them. Does anyone know of any law that would allow them to successfully sue her in federal court? Or somehow exempt the debt from the statute of limitations?

The people who are making plans to send students and teachers back to "in-person" learning are making most of those plans in virtual online meetings.

In early November 2018, I bought tickets to see Bohemian Rhapsody. My mom was turning 70, and she wanted her whole family to go. The show I bought tickets for was on December 30th. So, to reiterate, a little more than a year ago, in early November 2018, I bought tickets to see a movie that I was going to go to see several weeks later. I can not do that anymore. Is it just me? Can you but tickets three or four weeks out on Fandango, or on your local theater's ticketing site? If it is just me, what am I doing wrong? If it isn't just me, why did the vast majority of movie theaters recently ALL decide at the SAME time that you have to wait until Tuesday before you can buy tickets for a Friday movie?

I set up Chrome as my default browser. But whenever I search from the task bar, or from Cortana, edge opens. It also opens when search from within any Microsoft application (like Word or Excel). Is there a way to stop that? Can I delete Edge? Is there a way to make your "default" browser your "only" browser?

I have heard all sorts of defenses on the news, and on social media. But the one defense, the one that would be an absolute defense, would be "Trump didn't do it. He didn't do what you said". Why is that not his defense?
