Going on a trip and want to get some people at work some little things (something unique if possible). Hate to get keychains.

Went out with this girl for the second time. The first date went well and lasted about an hour at a coffeehouse. Offered to buy her drink, she insisted on paying herself. We maintained a decent amount of eye contact, but didn't notice much body language. She agreed to a second date, so I thought that was good.

On the second date, I suggested a place (she said it was my decision). She would talk about her family, places she's been, usual date stuff. I did the same. We walked around for ten minutes before I walked her to her car.

What worries me is that she brought up stories of exes on both dates. She also paid for her share (I offered) of the bills. First date ended with a handshake, second ended with just a goodbye. She also said that she wasn't looking for a relationship (apparently, she got out of one recently) and was looking forward to being single and having free time.

Should I ask her out again, or take this as a "let's be friends" response and go out with someone else?

Okay, I was listening to this song on college radio the other day and the only, repeat, only lyrics I could decipher was the word "you" spelled out and repeated as a whole (y o u...you), which I believe is a part of the chorus portion.

Aside from that, it's pretty modern (can't be earlier than 1990 by my guessing) has an upbeat tone and sounds alternative.
