What do 2 short train horns repeated many times mean?
I was on the metra on the way home last night. The train started honking 2 short honks over and over for about 10 to 15 minutes. It was still going when I got off. During the time, a freight train passed which was unusual for this line. Do you know what this meant?

Planning on commuting from Bucktown to Lake Forest .. What would traffic be like? Train really isn't an option so I am wondering what traffic on 90/94 outbount in the morning is, and what its like coming back home too. I currently work in Waukegan, live in Wheeling. Lease is expiring and thinking of moving because I want to live somewhere with more stuff to do. I am 22 years old, like doing 22 y/o things. Would love to live in Chicago but the commute to Waukegan would suck. Any ideas where to move to up here in north cook county / south lake county that actually has some stuff to do on weekends? Maybe close to a train station?
