  • Problems with a medaling, manipulative older sister.?

I cut ties with my sister 3 years ago, after trying for many many years to 'get along' with her.

She lies, steals, she makes up stories and yet again I had to face her at a family wedding (I was in wedding party of her daughter) only to find out she's been saying the most horrible things about me behind my back.

And for years some people thought what she was saying was true, only to be put straight by someone who intercepted the untruths on my behalf.

This woman is pure evil...she's had cancer and that didnt even change her.

Can someone please please please give me words of strength and encouragement to get me through this yet again very hurtful time.

Would I like to go over there and smash her face in (oh yes really feel I could do it and or sue her for slander)..but her poor dear husband is deathly ill, therefore I have to bite my tongue until it is bloody.

How do I get her to stop? I don't even talk about her myself, but yet again I find myself in this situation without my knowledge. She just won't stop until she gets a reaction from me, and I don't want to stoop to her level.

Why does she hate me so much, her own children has said she is jealous of me. Why? I don't know.

I have worked hard for everything I have with no handouts from anyone.

I was always helpful and supportive to her and her family (and obviously still am if her own daughter wanted me in her wedding party) and she just spews the most hateful hurtful things...how can I get this monkey off my back for once and all?

I need great words of wisdom people..please help.

  • How do you handle Christmas without family or friends?

It's been a few years since my parents passed and its a struggle to keep upbeat and enjoy the season. I do volunteer and run a toy drive for needy children and enjoy that, but it doesn't seem to be enough to help keep the blues away. Anyone have any good ideas?
