Hello. Im no computer genius so pleasd bear with me. I turned on my HP pavilion dv6 and the black screen of death popped up and said : windows has failed to start and a recent hardwate or software change might be the cause . To fix the problem insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.

How do I obtain this disc? I don't remember ever getting one with my laptop. What I want to make sure at this point is that all files on my computer are not deleted.

  • Prom Dress for Small Bust, Bigger Hips?

Hello! My prom is coming up and I have no idea what style dress I would look good in. I know that I obviously wont be able to choose one without trying it on ( because i'm very picky) but maybe knowing what style would look best would save me some time. I'm about 5'5 tall, long blonde hair, blue eyes. My bust is tiny at a 34A/32 B. My waist is fairly small too, and I do have hips - not huge ones but I do have curves for my body type. I'm open to about anything, except for short dresses cause it is a very formal prom. Attach pictures if possible. Here's one of me :

  • Guy Problems. Going to his house for movie, as friends?

Hello. I'll try to make this short. There are 2 boys, Guy A and B. I have been talking to Guy A for over a year now and I have always had something for him. I have started talking to Guy B recently ( 2/3 months), I also have something for him. Both go to my school, both and friends, etc. Guy B has asked me to go to his house to watch a movie. I accepted. When in a different class Guy A asked me if I was working tonight. I said no. He then asked me if I was going to this local party, I said no. He then asked what I was doing so I told him I was going to watch a movie at Guy B's house ( didn't say if we were watching it alone, or with anyone, etc). Guy A then got really red, quiet, and even left the class early without saying bye. It seems like he was angry. Tonight, I don't know if I really want a relationship with guy A, B or neither. I have a feeling Guy B is going to try kissing me or something, but how do I reject? I feel that kissing him will convince him I like him, and only him. I have a feeling Guy A and B know what is going on. How do I go see the movie tonight at Guy B's house just as friends without telling him straight up. What will I do if he leans in for a kiss. HELP

  • Period/Tampon Help - Banquet coming up?

Hi everyone, i'm pretty new to tampons, and am a little afraid to continue using them. My period is fairly light and lasts up to 7-9 days. I have an athletic banquet coming up in a couple days which mean I will be on my 6th day of my period - VERY LIGHT at this point. I am wearing a pretty tight dress, and cannot wear normal underwear with them. (thong only). My period is so light i'm afraid I wont soak up a whole tampon making it very difficult to take out. Question is: is it safe not to soak up a whole tampon? What do you guys suggest?

    Thanks

  • Shoe Colour/ Accessories Help for Mint Dress! 10 pts best answer!?

Hello everyone. put a dress on hold today , so I don't have a picture but found a dress online that resembled it and edited it (using paint, not a graphic artist of any sort) to give you can idea of what colour/style it is. I will be wearing it to an athletic banquet, and the dress code is semi formal so I need to make it fancy even though it could be a casual dress. So my question is: what shoe colour to go with this dress (wearing heels) and any accessories that would add a nice touch.

Pictures of ideas would be great, and canadian stores would be much appreciated as well.

The picture is the first one on my tumblr blog ( couldn't figure out a way to post it any where else)

    Thank you!

ps. im 16-17 so nothing too mature or young for my age :)

  • new g2 driver, what insurance to purchase and do I need any?

Hello, I am a 16 year old girl who received her g2 last week, and I need some information about insurance because I can't seem to find any simple but good information online.

    1. Do I need insurance(legally)? I would be driving my mom/dad's car (2007 dodge van automatic and 2004 toyota matrix manual). If I were to get into an accident would it affect both my parents insurance (both under same plan).

    2. Should I purchase occasional driver insurance? How much does it usually cost for someone like myself in Ontario? If I were to be put under my parents plan as occasional, and if i were to get into an accident does it still affect their plan? If so, less than driving w/o insurance at all?

    3. If I were to buy a car in the next year, how much would insurance cost for my own car? (can it be joint with my parents, or complete separate)?

    Thank you

  • Bump on Cartilage Piercing after a week...?

Hi there. I got both my cartilage and conch pierced 10 days ago, and my conch is healing perfectly, but I noticed there was a bump on my cartilage. I know they are not the symptoms of a kelloid, but just a boil and scarring tissue. What is the best way to heal this? I did not get it done with a gun so that is not my concern. Chamomile?Salt Water? Pop the boil? Which method is best. please share past experiences.

  • BOY HELP? SHOULD I GO OVER TO HIS HOUSE. 10pts best answer.?

Sorry if this gets too long, I'm in gr 11, and I know I'm still young I just need some honest advice.

Me and this boy Mark are in one of the same classes at school, and we don't really talk too much and school, but when it comes to texting we text pretty often, sometimes I start the conversation sometimes he does. It's like we are best friends over text, but when it comes to school were just classmates. We are on spring break and I asked him how his break was going. He said meh, I don't get out of the house much. (he lives in a city further away (30 min drive) but attends our school so it's hard for him to hang out with school friends). I said there's tons of stuff you can do, its beautiful out, visit your grandmother, take a walk, bring me some food --> all jokingly said. He said you should come here and keep me company. I say but you live soo far, He says "take a bus", I say "I'm running out of excuses <3". He replies with "you softie". I am unsure if he was just joking or being sort of serious. We continue on a different conversation topic but then when its time to say goodnight I said "be there at 12 ;)" --> which was meant as a joke, dont ask me why I said this i was confused LOL. Now its been a full day since that conversation and we haven't talked, but I'm going to a friends house and his house is on the way, so should I stop by? Obv I would have to tell him first, but I dont know how. "Hey what are you doing tomorrow, still need company?" Should I go over in the first place? Am I just taking this thing too far? Help!

I tried taking out my tampon just now, but it does hurt extremely when taking it out. I just took it some of the string so far. What should I do? Should i wait a couple more hours? Should I soak myself in the tub this one time so remove it? I can feel the tampon currently as I did pull on the string a bit. Help please! :)

  • Boy Troubles. Need some advice.?

I don't want this to be too long, but here it goes. I think I like this guy, and I think he likes me, but I don't know where to go from there? I think what is preventing us from seeing each other is that we live 40 min away from each other, and I only see him about every 2 weeks. We do not like showing that we like each other in front of others is another problem. Most of our conversations have been through texts/ chats. Any advice on what to do from here? I don't really want to tell him I like him, because I am not sure he truly likes me back.

In december I had some little blood spots, (about the size od a penny) every 4 hrs ish. For about a week but then that stopped, and nothing has really happened after that, just white discharge. Is this just my period being irregular, or something serious (due to the blood spots) ?

P.S - do sexual activity ever, or birth control, or anything like that

I am petite (5 ish feet tall and about 110 pounds, but I am not anorexic or bulimic and eat 3-4 meals every day)

  • Help with job interview. I think I made a mistake ?

Ok, I think I better start with the whole story. I am a 15 year old girl and this is my first job. I applied for a job at a toy store, and i assumed they liked my resume, because I was called to join a group interview (it was yesterday). I would say it went pretty well. At the end, they told everyone to come and give their availability if they have not, so I approached him and he told me he already had them. I think I did not specify when he asked for my INTERVIEW HOURS, or he was confused. So i said sorry, those are not the hours. So I told him the ones I would like. (1st Question: Does availability mean I would be able to work all of these hours in a week, and she can almost guarantee I would get all of these hrs, or will she just choose some of them) I thought I was giving her hrs I am available, but I prob wil not be able to handle all of them. ) So I sent a thank you after the interview. I feel like if when she meant availability hrs she meant days I am available to work guarantee, so I said them. (Question 2: Should I email her back and let her know I am available for these days but would only like 3 days ot of them?) Whats your opinion. Should I wait until she invites me for another interview or hires me? I feel that if I don't tell her she wont hire me, as she said a lot of availability is needed.
