  • How was Chris Pronger injured?

Was it from the stick to the face he took or something else? Or does anyone really know?

  • What would happen if two players on the same team had the same last name and first initial?

What would be on their jerseys? Has this happened before?

  • What are all the prospects tournaments that are going on?

I know there's the Traverse City one, and the Canucks and Red Wings will be hosting tournaments as well. Any others?

  • What do you think of the new Winnipeg Jets jerseys?

The arm stripes on the road ones look kinda weird, but the blue ones look great.

  • Non-Manitobans, will you be jumping on the Jets bandwagon next year?

For myself, I won't be cheering for the Jets, or any team other than my favourite team (the Canucks). I see a bunch of people from outside Manitoba jumping on the bandwagon, but personally I find it weird to cheer for more than one team. I'm very happy for Winnipeg and all but as far as I'm concerned they're just another team (especially since they have Byfuglien and Ladd).

This is just a simple question will you be cheering for the Jets

    a) as your new favourite team

    b) as a secondary favourite team

    c) will not be cheering for them at all

Thrashers fans I'm especially interested in your opinion.

  • One way rivalries in the NHL?

What are some rivalries in the NHL, where Team A hates Team B but Team B doesn't really care about Team A?

Only one I can think of is Vancouver-Minnesota. Minnesota booed Vancouver at the draft, but Vancouver doesn't really hate the Wild.

  • Wakeboard boot setup?

I have never wakeboarded before but I do waterski (which I enjoy but wanted to try something new). I bought myself a wakeboard and boots and I was just wondering how I should setup the boots. In particular I'm looking for what would be a good range for what angle to set them at as a starting point.

  • Any players that you respect on a team that you hate?

You don't have to actually like them, but is there a player on a team that you hate that you respect? For me it's Jarome Igina. I hate the Flames but Iginla is a great player and super classy. As a Canucks fan, when Trevor Linden retired Iginla lined up his whole team to shake Linden's hand after his last game.

  • Vancouver fans are you proud?

After the riots I was feeling extremely embarassed. But when i heard of thousands of people going downtown to clean up I felt pride. I wanted to go too but I had school.

    So two part question:

    1) despite the fact we lost are you proud of our season overall?

    2) and has the embarssment of Vancouver been replaced with pride for the people that showed the true spirit of Vancouver?

  • Why do people spell Canucks as Cunucks?

I have noticed a lot of people spelling the Canucks name as Cunucks. Even people who cheer for them. Is it supposed to be some kind of Insult/pun or do people just not know how to spell?

  • What if your favourite way to watch hockey games on TV?

  • Do you think the Canucks played better than games 3 and 4?

Despite the difference, I thought the Canucks played a lot better this game than 3 and 4. In those games the Canucks were giving the puck away left and right, and being too easy on Thomas with long floater shots. This game they had plenty of chances, but they had some bad bounces and Thomas made great saves. Henrik even scored on the powerplay (bout time). The Canucks just got rattled for about 5 minutes and they will need to learn to play a full 60 minute next time.

  • Bandwagoners acting like experts?

As a Canucks fan, many other people have joined the bandwagon. Many have never watched or played hockey in their life, but suddenly now they're experts. So everytime the home team loses, they either give up or make excuses like "the ice was bad" or better yet, "they threw the game for more revenue" or "they just did it to win on home ice"as if you can just control which games you win or lose. It was the same thing during the Olympics. I have no problem with bandwagoners in general, I just hate the particular ones that suddenly act like die hard fans and experts. These people are more posers than bandwagoners. I just wanna hear from fans of other teams that made long playoff runs, including the Bruins, on if they had the same problem and what they think of it.

  • Do engineers actually build stuff?

I'm kind of interested in mechanical or automotive engineering as a career. I love vehicles and I would like the creative part like designing machines and stuff. But I'm wondering, do engineers actually go out and build prototypes etc.? Does it depend on the company or type of engineer? Because I really like building things with my hands (Shop classes are my favourite and I do well at them) and the last thing I want is to be chained to desk for 8 hours a day. Also, could you suggest some other well paying careers that involve hands on work?

  • Anyone else hate the wave?

Personally i find it annoying when someone starts the wave. It's cool the first time you do it but it gets old fast. It's so distracting, because you gotta watch the crowd and stand up every 10 seconds rather than watch the game. I love cheering and doing chants but the wave is just annoying.
