I need some opinions here.

I have a friend who recently stumbled upon her boyfriends (of two years) email. On the email accound (in the trash folder) were gobs of emails from craigslist about "w4m in it for a good time" ect basically girls for hire ads. If it were just this we wouldn't be concerned (wouldassume it to be spam) however there are what appear to be replies on these emails and the replies contain personal info (phone number, name, and even some photos). These emails appear to go back to the start of the email account 2 months ago and come from seemingly local CL ads.

When boyfriend was confronted he seemed genuinely shocked and hurt and has vehnemently denied this going on: claiming it to be a hacker attempt. It seems so unbeleivable yet we want to believe it as he is such a sweet guy who tells her he loves her daily (and we thought was planning to propose soon!). I did a little google of "Craigslist hack email" and came up with some similair results and a few that appear to be exactly the same (with no answers posted though). Oh and by the way all replies appear to be done via a smartphone which is the only thing makeing me think it is possible it is a hack. The pictures are all present on his phone/facebook as well. Some of the words/sentences are a bit out of character as well.

Basically I just want opinions here. Please tell me whether you are a computer savvy person or just someone that has run into this before!

Ok so here is the deal:

I have a 15 gallon tank (but i consider it 13 gallons of fish space due to the filter,plants, ordiments ect and for safeties sake). It is a very well established tank (had it for over 5 years now) and it is very healthy.

In my tank I have:

Guppies- 2 adult males, 1 adult female and 2 juvvie females (5 total)(no comments on this ratio please, it has always worked very well for me + fry add femals generally)

Loach- Mystery species i just know it is a loach (given to me by firend); about 2 inches,very non agressive.

Otocinclus- 1 young adult (new) (non agressive species in past)

My question is that i just introduced two adult mollies to the tank but am now thinking that it was a bad descion, space wise (when calculating at pet store i forgot about loach).

With the mollies i am up to roughly 14 inches of fish (counting juvvie guppies as one inch).. I think this is a bit much.. I also forgot that mollies need a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio on females to males.. What does everyone else think?

I think my best bet would be to get rid of the mollies (i still have receipt on them). But i admit to having become attached to the female.. Would it be too much to keep just the one mollie? I am leaning toward that decision considering i have had more fish then this in the tank before (guppies breed like crazy! can't make it to the store often enough to keep tank down all the time lol) and they did fine and dandy lol

To be honest i am also hoping that keeping one molly will help keep the guppy fry population down.. (that is horrible of me i admit lol)

GIVE ME YOUR COMMENTS/OPINIONS PLEASE!! Though remember to be polite and consider the fact that this is a hobby for me and while i think the fish should be happy and healthy i will not commit a jillion hours to the tank every week (hence the reason i have easy versitile fish).

I am trying to resize an image in GIMP from about 1500px to roughly 500px. The problem lies int he fact that the edges of the object get very very rough and pixelated looking when i do this. I can not figure out why because on my old version of gimp 2.6 it never did this. The original image is very clear and good quality

Any hints? This is driving me crazy!

I have tried changing pixel/in to over 300 and even tried the blur then resize method (which helped slightly)

I haved no idea what has caused this; i was on internet and suddenly everything closed an i got the "shutting down" message. I assumed it was a windows config moment but then it stopped on a black screen with only the text above. I can get to the BIOS menu and the the f12 menu (settings i think?) but i have no idea what i am looking at or for..

Any help? It would be much appriciated!

Is it legal to place someoen elses name on a wifi/cable bill?

My friends roomate decided that they needed new wi-fi (highspeed) but my friend didn't want to pay for it so she basically just said "do whatever if you're paying for it". We have come to find out today that he did indeed go out and sign a contract with SuddenLink. The problem lays in the fact that it turns out he has placed the wi-fi under my friends name and not his own. I don't understand hwo this could be legal but i haven't been able to find a clear answer online..

Any thoughts? (besides get a new roomate lol)

Hey i just finished the Inheritance Cycle series (yep behind on my reading there lol) and with how it ended i am looking into fanfiction lol

However it would seem mthat Eragon fanfiction is a bit..er not as mature in writing style as the other genres i read (HP, Naruto, Twilight..err somthimes,, fruitsbasket, etc). So i am struggling in finding fics that i can stand the writing of (even with good plots they are rushed or just unreadable)

That said can someone give me some reccomendations for the 'classic' Inher. Cycle fics ( you know the ones with like a thousand reviews :P) I would like for them to be completed or with an author that updates very regularly. I don't care about rating or even shipping really just givve me ome good ones :D

Ok so first and foremost i need the actual code or a site that has the actual code :) I have the basics of HTML but not enought o create the code; just to fiddle with it..

I need the code for placing a more then one scroll bar an top of an image. An example of this is seen in layouts on such sites as horseland and other sim/rpg sites. Please keep in mind i want the scroll bars on TOP of the image not the image in the scrolls.

So i know this question pops up all the time (and i answer them when i can lol) but now it is my turn to ask: Can someone give some suggestions about manga/anime that i may like?

I am a fan of the following:

Naruto (kinda..started killing people off..grr.)

Fruits basket (loved this one ^^)

Oruan High School (cute and interesting)

Inuyasha (fan of majority of anime)

Dramacon (funny,short)

Vampire Night (read about half of)

Chibi Vampire (cute never got around to whole series..)

Cowboy Bebop (mm.. it was ok..)

Wolf's Rain (hmm.. wasn't a huge fan)

I'd rather not read/watch Bleach as it is so darn loong! (i saw first couple episodes) I'd like something shorter with at least a smidge or romance (if not more) and hopefully a completed series. Also No DeathNote plese (i did try it..didn't hold my attention)

Other then that i am happy with any sex pairings(yuri/lesbian,hetero,yaoi/gay) and i am an adult so don't worry about maturity ratings. Note that i am a huge fan of animals so if there is one that is based animals a bit i'd love it :)

My grandma is looking for a dog she currently has a 10 year old German Short hair Pointer. She would like the dog to fit most of the following characteristics:

-40-50 pounds this is probably most important

-Light to no shedding

-Less one the active side (the german pointer is very active)

-Note that she lives in Denver, Colorado so a little cold resistance is very good.

-Please note that exercise requirements is not the problem as the dog will go on a 1-2 hour walk each morning in the off leash dog park. So any dogs exercisrequirementsts should be fine there and there is also a large yard.

Some of the breeds we have considered include: aussie cattle dog, greyhound (cold being the problem), medium poodle, anpit bullll (banned in Denver). So if anyone can give me more/better info on these dogs or better yet some new breeds that fit this description well it would be great :) Please give as much info as possible!

So i am a huge fan of pit types (specifically the american pit bull terrier) but when i have been on this site (answers) before it seems like a lot of people on here dislike these breeds. Did i just happen across a bad answer or is that the general consensus on this site.. Specifically i am asking about your opinion on the breed/lineage vs. the owner/enviroment. when i was on previously it seemed a ton of people purely beleived in lineage.. is that still true?

Best answer will be the answer i find the most well rounded and rational no matter the personal opinion shown.

So i'm about 18 and with Borders closing i want to use all my gift cards from there but i have no clue what to buy as i've recently run out of things to read.. I'm mainly looking for adult series (as i'm still kinda in the transition period b/w YA and adult fiction lol) or YA series, and mostly MANGA.. i'm particularly interested in manga at this time but all other suggestions will be much loved and i will choose best answer for sure.

so things i like:

-Fantasy/fiction is my prefered genre though i can run with basically anything. I'd say my second favorite genre's are mystery and romance (not to fluffy though.. there must be a plot)

-Adventure/ romance is the best genre for me in the fiction department and Manga deparment along with humor :)

-I love animals and magic so books that have them in it is extra good. (such as green rider or fruits basket)

-I only put my age on here because i don't want books about a middle age woman going through a midlife crisis. I have read such books like Riding Lessons and enjoyed them it's just not normally my thing.

-As for the 'rating' of the books i don't care, it can be x-rated or g-rated i'm just looking for a good story :)

-i read both adult fiction and Young adult novels along with Manga so please recommend all.

-I am not high on really drama-y books (such as the House of Night series) so please none of those.

Books.

-No classics please.. I've read them so they are on my list and i've enjoyed them but that's not what i'm looking for right now.

-no books written in poerty format please (such as crank and glass etc.)

- and also please no books like nicholas Sparks novels.. bore me to tears..

So this is a toatlly random question about posting sites like Deviantart, fanfiction,net, and all the other fanfiction sites and livejourna and even this site (Yahoo answers ;)) However i am mainly focused on fanfiction and deviant art but the others are important too. The question is simple:

What do you think of them? (in general)

Do you find that you have many friends online or do you find it difficult to make online friends?

Do you like the community support?(as in are comments/reveiws in abundance or do you have to be super good to merit a respose from the community?)

Do you think the fanfiction sites are legally a good idea? If you were an author would you allow fanfics from your novels?

Any other comments would be enjoyed too(maybe a good or bad experiance on one of these sites), this is purely an inquisitive moment of mine and i'm wondering if others have the same experiances as i do on the sites (good and bad) so any responses will be much loved ;D

I have a dog (lab, border collie cross) who is 7 and a half right now and recently our family has grown to include 2 new babies who we enjoy having over at the house. Now our dog is very well behaved and has never shown aggression (biting, growling, snarling etc.) and has been trained since he was a pup not to react to tail pulling, ear/ feet touching etc. But when we got him the youngest in our house was age 10 and we don't have any friend or family with babies till recently so he's had basically no experience with young children or babies.

My cousins however have come over before when they were around age 3 and on two different occasions (with two different cousins) and two of the times they came over the dog snapped at them, now it was just a warning snap and there was food in the area on the floor (with them on the floor) and the Dog was also only 3 maybe 4 himself and since then he has never showed such a tendency again (though since we've monitored him more carefully) another important thing to know is that he shows NO food aggression with us or any other people before that or since then.

Now recently two new babies have come into the family and are over at the house fairly frequently and so far we've had no problems with the babies (6 months and 3 months) and the dog except that at times (seemingly fairly random) the dog will get excited and whine/groan and prance around our feet or the feet of the person with the baby, even nudging his nose into arms and legs, like he's obviously asking for attention. My mom is worried that not only is it possible for him to step on the babies (he's fairly large sized, 50lbs ish) not on purpose be because he's to hyped on jealousy but that he could also snap in a dominance way at the baby because of his past transgressions.

So what exactly can we try to ease this 'jealous' behavior besides locking the dog up (which wouldn't help at all)? And yes the dog and baby are already always supervised and we no longer have food down with baby near, but this question is all about prevention and just being cautious.

I have read about carrying dolls and doting on them while keeping the dog calm is a good one to try and mixing baby and dog time is also good (pet dog while feeding baby for example)but these are more for people Living with babies then having them over for visits.. is there anything else anyone knows of that may be of some help and comfort?

As a newcomer to this section of Yahoo answers as i started reading questions that sparked my interest i was a little suprised at the excessive use of the word "feminist" in a negitive or deragatory way and am a little confused about this. I'll admit that i don't know tons about the feminist group or movements in modern times but i do know that women are still descriminated against on a daily basis in jobs, stores, etc. why is this ok? (i'm asking that to the people who constantly bash feminists)

On a related note this is the Gender Studies section yet it seems a large precentage of the questions are made up of things like "why are men so stupid?" or "what are women good for?" which of course is just plain insulting to either gender along with sexist or extremely ignorant, the comments that follow these questions are also almost never well thought out intellectual responses but instead a straight throw-back insult to the other gender.. i don't understand these wuestions have nothing to do with studying gender or even social gender dynamics they are just plain bashing in a war that can't be won.... has anyone else realized this?

hello, i have recently come to need a new camera but have absolutely no clue what one i should go for.I am not be any means a pro nor do i need such a camera but i do want a nice one. i know for sure i want a camera with:

-no long delay

-takes a SD card

-not overly complex

-good with action

(The first two being most important)Some other things that would be nice would be:

-a nice color(such as green of orange)

-takes video (WITH sound)

-if used in bright light it doesnt wash the picture out.

OK any suggestions at all would be nice and remember the most i can spend is more of less $175 Thanks!
