Hi,

I have a nice co-worker that I think is taking advantage of me.

We usually take our brake together at work and every single day (5 times per week) she ask if she can have a cigarette. They same thing happen when we finish to work at night. This for a grand total of 10 cigarettes per week (= $5 per week)!

She brought me a pack a long time ago to thank me but I cannot stand it anymore. Cigarettes are expensive in NY ($10 per pack)!

Once I told her laughing that I will open a conveniente store near our job to make money selling cigarettes....well she didn't get it.....

Please please! How can I tell her in a nice way that she should buy her own cigarettes?

Do we have to split rent 50/50?

We have been living together for almost 2 years. I didn't have a job for the last year and he was supporting me. Now I am gonna start a new job and I will make around $35,000 a year.

He makes over $100,000 per year.

We are going to rent an apartment for $1,600 per month and he wants me to pay $800 per month rent.

I am a little bit confused....is it normal for me to pay so much and split 50/50 or should we share the rent compared to our income.

I have dignity and I will pay the money he asked me but I find it's a little bit weird.

Please give me advise...is he cheap or I am the crazy one pretending the perfect man who we tell me not to worry about a thing?

Please give me good advise...we are in a commited relationship and we talk about our future together but I don't understand why he is asking me so much!

Here is the situation.

I bought a condo in 2007 and I would like to sell it but the market is very very bad and I will end up loosing money.

I will move closer to my job and I was considering renting out my apartment and rent a small place near my work.

Am I crazy to move from the apartment I own (still paying morgatge) and rent some other place?

The renter will cover all my expenses and me I will have to pay a rent ( this will allow me to have the same expenses but it would be more convenient for me). Have you ever heard of a person renting his first house and renting somewhere else.

I am also concerned about the taxes I will have to pay for the profit I will make renting out.

Please advise me if I should stay in my place (and have a long commute) or rent out.

I also considered the worst case scenario of not finding a tenant and having on my shoulder mortgage rent but the solution would be to lower the rent and loose around $100 per month.

Please advise!!!!

in data 23/08/2009 atterrando a Catania, l'Alitalia non mi ha consegnato le valigie. Sono arrivate dopo 4 giorni (ero in vacanza senza niente!).

Ho fatto reclamo e in Gennaio 2009 mi hanno comunicato che mi avrebbero rimborsato i 300Euro di spesa che avevo subito. La delibera era stata data ma mancava una firma (chissà di chi).

Richiamo oggi e mi comunicano che Alitalia ha chiesto fallimento e tutte le pratiche prima del 29/08/09 (6 giorni dopo il fattaccio) non verranno pagate a causa del fallimento.

Sapete dirmi se c'e' un assocciazione consumatori che raccoglie questi sfortunati casi?

Alitalia mi ha detto di rivolgermi ad un avvocato (per 300Euro di rimborso).

Purtroppo ho bisogno di quei soldi ma non posso permettermi un avvocato. Sapreste indirizzarmi a qualcuno?

Je suis en train de chercher un vol de New York a Algier, a/r pour la fin de Juin debut Juillet. J'ai trouve Air France, Alitalia et Royal Maroc mais il sont tres chere. Il y a quelqu'un qui peut m'indiquer des Airlines pas chere? J ai vu le website de AirAlgerie et ils offrent un vol NYC-Algier mais aucune date est disponible. Est ce que vous saver me dire s'il existe ce vol. En Europe il y a Ryanair pour le low cost, il y a quelque airline low cost pour l Algerie?

I am from Europe. I worked in the US with a valid visa from January 2008 to September 2008. my income is very low. I earned only $9,400 and my employer paid taxes for me.

I am single, I don't own properties and I don't have children. Now I am back to my country. Do I need to file for taxes? In my country if your income is lower than 7,500 Euros you don't have to file. What do I have to do?

I asked it already but some answers were "yes you can travel" others "absolutely not".

I have a Fiance' Visa that is being processed and I need to see my Fiance' in the US...I miss him so much.

I can enter under Visa Waiver and I have strong ties from Italy (rent, university...).

Is there a law showing what can I do? I know that is up to the officers but I need some experience or strong sources!
